In the heart of Thy National Park, around 500 m from the North Sea, Nystrup Camping offers a wonderful combination of nature and relaxation. Shrubs and trees protect the well-maintained pitches from excessive wind. Holidaymakers can look forward to bike hire, a barrel sauna, mini golf, and a shop. Children can romp around on the playground or explore the campsite in a go-kart. The fishing village of Klitmøller is a wonderful place to stroll around.
The campsite near a long, white sandy beach offers a lot of privacy with its niche-like pitches.
Near the site is the surfing area "Cold Hawaii".

An exceptionally beautiful campsite with wonderful and individual pitches. Quietly located with a high degree of privacy, yet allowing space for very pleasant contacts with other campers.

A super beautiful campsite with very friendly staff. Highly recommended for surfers and people looking for relaxation. Sanitary facilities and communal areas such as kitchens, dining rooms, and lounges, as well as outdoor facilities, are top-notch. We spent three wonderful weeks here!

Awesome, one arrives and feels like visiting good friends. Very nice owner couple. The place is in excellent condition. The sanitary facilities are totally fine. Upcycling has been done here, which is completely okay in today's time. Everything is clean regardless of the time. WiFi is available and included in the price. The place is very good not only for motorhomes but also great for camping or as a biker, as there are also cabins. We love being there. The small shop offers rolls and various items. And of course, items on the theme of Cold Hawaii. So typical! 😂

Very nicely laid out site. In the southern part are all the pitches. Surrounded by high hedges and bushes, which guarantees a maximum of privacy. Thanks to sufficiently large plots, maneuvering is also not a problem. Electricity is available directly at each pitch. The two wash houses could still be a bit more modern, after all the first one (at the reception) has already been spruced up. The hosts (you really can't call them staff here) are extremely friendly; you feel welcome from the very first moment. Even though the sanitary standard only justifies four stars, the overall impression is simply top-notch.

For 4 nights, we set up our tents (caravans) here. We had a unique spot and made the right decision for our case. Our place was large enough for the car and caravan, seating, hammock, and toys. Despite being near the sanitary building (behind our hedge), it was never uncomfortably loud or felt like we were being watched. The playground, the goats, and especially the vehicle fleet for kids (free of charge) was a big hit with our three-year-old, and even despite bad weather on two of the three days, he had fun. The bunker museum and a pool nearby also contributed to this. The beach, which is 1 km away, was easily accessible by bike and very nice. The community kitchen was simple but had everything one needs, and most importantly (compared to previous campsites), there were enough seating areas. On Pentecost Sunday, pancake baking over the fire was offered for the kids. This was free and very easy-going. It wasn't counted, and even if adults snacked along, no one minded. The staff were very friendly and helpful. What we also liked was that the electricity was billed with a meter. What we didn’t find optimal: there was an electric digger on the playground that unfortunately only made noise but didn’t respond to any controls. This is of course frustrating for kids. Also, there was no private sink in "our" sanitary building (a curtain would have sufficed). The family bathroom is great (child toilet and two child bathtubs next to each other) but cannot be locked. We believe that showers should be included in a price over €40 per night (and if there are environmental reasons, this can be approached in many other ways). Overall, it was a great campsite, and if we want to come back to this corner again, we would return.

I can't understand the average rating at ADAC! Yes, it is a beautiful older site with fully grown trees and many shrubs and hedges. That’s exactly what I love about this place! The motorhomes or caravans are sheltered from the wind! I spent a stormy night there and didn't notice the wind at all. The sanitary facilities are a bit older but well maintained and clean. There is plenty of room when showering. There is a bench in the middle of the sanitary area where you can change in peace after showering. Personally, I found that very good. On my trip along the North Sea coast, this sanitary area was by far the best heated! The staff was also very helpful and straightforward. I will definitely go there again!!

It is now one o'clock in the morning and we are listening to Guns N' Roses at maximum volume. We had sought a place to sleep here with the kids; but that is impossible. It is outrageous that the site operators do not inform their customers about parties of this kind!! Now we are stuck here and are not even allowed to leave the place....
