Not bad except for the sanitary facilities.

The campsite is good, you can choose your own spot whether you want to be more under the trees or prefer to have more sun. The pitches are sufficiently large, whether with a camper or tent. There is also space for very large tents. 2 playgrounds, 1 kiosk with super delicious rolls and little things you might need (no grill meat), snack bar where you can get schnitzel, fries, pizza, currywurst, potato salad, fried potatoes, herring, battered fish and more. The sanitary facilities desperately need an upgrade (from the 90’s), the toilets are way too cramped, 5 toilets on the left and right in a narrow corridor and only 1 sink. It is cleaned only once a day, which is too little for a full campsite. As a result, there is sometimes no toilet paper. The second sanitary house is even worse, you can't take your personal belongings into the shower.

We got a spot without any issues, even though the neighboring spots were full.

Many shaded spots, casual camping. One of the very few truly dog-free sites in Germany.

Very nice well-maintained site

A great place with beautiful old trees. The location is quiet and the short walk to the lake is manageable even with a surfboard. The sanitary facilities as well as the entire site are clean and well-kept, the bistro is very good, and the staff is friendly. The small kiosk could offer more camping materials, such as pegs or cable and hose adapters. I would recommend this site.

It Can't Get Worse,

The operators are by far among the unfriendly of their kind. Especially the site manager with the sunglasses does nothing more than sit in front of the bistro of the site, spending his working hours smoking and drinking. The site is actually nice and well-located, but unfortunately, over the last 20 years, they have forgotten to invest. The toilets and washrooms have the charm of the 70s and smell terribly. Hygiene is obviously not a priority here. The playgrounds are completely dilapidated and partly unusable. There is nothing offered for children and young people. If you want to feel really uncomfortable during your camping vacation, Camping Nordufer is the right place for you.

Unfriendly staff, toilets are not cleaned regularly!

Claudia
We have been to this place several times, the staff here is not exactly friendly! The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities leaves much to be desired, we are used to other places where the sanitary facilities are cleaned twice within 24 hours (sometimes this happened at night), here we have repeatedly observed that on a Saturday no cleaning was done at all! It's actually a shame, as the place is otherwise great with the playground and the kiosk! A little friendliness and a good cleaning concept would probably do this place good and make it more popular!
