The campsite offers many great playgrounds that are especially attractive for families with children. However, in the new areas, the ground is very hard, making it difficult to fully sink pegs. The indoor pool is a saltwater pool and costs 20 € for a family of four for 2 hours, which is a bit expensive. The entire beach area is artificially reinforced, so you have to walk over concrete to get to the water. There is a sand area, but it is not connected to the water. The rest of the beach consists of grass and asphalt. Positively, there are many good restaurants and a supermarket nearby that are easily reachable on foot.

Pro: Super campsite. Recently modernized and very clean. Highly recommended for children is the Leuchttürmchen Club with the cool sock Rolo. Dogs not welcome. Con: Apparently, the operators prefer tourist campers rather than permanent campers. Additionally, the prices are almost utopian.

The campsite is wonderfully located, elongated right by the dyke, which means that there are very short distances to the beautiful sandy beach, the kite area, and the town center is also not far away. The sanitary buildings are well distributed across the site, so you never had to walk long distances. All washing houses nearby had washrooms for women, men, as well as children/families, and enough options to wash dishes. Everything was very clean with a friendly cleaning team. The playgrounds on the site are only suitable for small children. The campsite itself was very clean and well-maintained. All food can be found in the well-stocked supermarket across from the campsite. All staff were very friendly.

The place and everything around it is very nice and a lot is done. Everything is very clean. However, the way of billing is quite bizarre. During the online booking, the premium pitch was charged at 27.20 €. Upon arrival, we received a brochure with the pitch prices!! For the high season, a price of 27.- € was indicated. The normally applicable low season started at 24.-€. When inquiring at the site, we were told that the price of the pitch always depended on the occupancy. Therefore, the prices are always listed as “from X,XX€” . This way, any other price could have been charged!?!? The billing for electricity is then the next impossibility! Make sure to ask for the meter reading! We did not do this and received the receipt for it. In just under 5 days, we were supposed to have consumed 23 kWh - for the refrigerator and a few hours of TV.

Everything we experienced during the booked week at the campsite was simply great. The sanitary facilities were very clean, the pitches were spacious, and the provision and disposal were excellently organized. Staff, whether inside or on the site, were nice and friendly.

The friendliness of the staff was exemplary, but I am very bothered by the pricing, which I have not encountered at any other place (even with the most luxurious amenities): 1. A fee of 10 € is charged for phone reservations or on-site booking. 2. When booking through the online portal, a price is displayed at the end of the booking process, which you either accept or cannot book. 3. However, this price is neither found in the brochure nor on the website, but is freely chosen depending on (non-verifiable !!!) occupancy. 4. Thus, I paid more for the place in the low season than for the high season (but probably this estimated price isn’t really correct either!!). I don't find this transparent; a place has a price for me, if the place is occupied, then there is simply no booking.
