Very nice quiet site directly at the sandy beach

The campsite belongs to the English Caravan and Motorhome Club. It can also be used by non-members (with a small surcharge). The site is quiet, located right by the lake, and has more than 80 pitches. Most of the pitches are grass pitches, but there are also a few hardstand pitches (gravel). There are two sanitary buildings, but only one was in operation during our visit in August. It is cleaned once a day. All facilities are clean and well-maintained. There is a separate playhouse with a table tennis table. The nearest shopping opportunities are in Stranraer, about 7 km away. A special feature of the site: You can drive your car directly to the water and, for example, launch your boat.
