Friendly campsite manager, condition as probably shortly after the reunification, junkyard with potential for improvement, but the pinnacle is the off-road access - more suitable for Unimog than for motorhomes. I don't understand how this site makes it into the ADAC camping guide!

The first impression on the phone was very nice. The access road is very unpleasant, deep filled holes on the sandy forest road. Pure nature, indeed! However, we were met with a junkyard. There is a nice large meadow available. However, the rest scared us off. Untended grounds with abandoned junk cars, crates of empty beer bottles lying around at several places. The old guesthouse (still from GDR times) is empty, but there’s empty bottles in front!? To bridge a night, it might be okay, but not for a vacation. We were horrified. Coffee and rolls are supposedly free. There is a wooden hut with a pavilion and a beer table ready. We didn’t want to check the sanitary facilities. We left immediately. What a shame! There’s still a lot to be done here. For the coffee and rolls, there would be 1 little star.

Friendly welcome and tourist advice. Unfortunately, the electricity supply is not suitable for many motorhomes, probably the installation is too weak. Otherwise, generally a nice place for one night. Wastewater and gray water disposal is only possible through the toilet. Sanitary facilities are in urgent need of renovation and too small when the site is fully occupied. The positive aspects are: showers without tokens, free drinking water, coffee flat rate, and roll service in the morning. Very good connections for cycling and hiking. Price for a motorhome with tent and 3 people is €45.
