We were there at the Bulli meeting, nice, helpful staff who took care of everything from morning to evening (campfire, grill, drinks). Simple facilities in the bathroom and kitchen, it's a luxury place, you can really relax there, there is a lot of variety and play with animals for the children. We would gladly come back.

Very remote, hardly any internet and no reception at all with Vodafone mobile phones. Cleanliness in the washrooms leaves much to be desired.. Staff have often been unfriendly and condescending.. however, for children, it is a paradise. Expensive and low-quality restaurant, hardly anything to buy and if so, then overpriced.

Bad campsite. Booked over a year ago and wanted adjacent pitches, provided tent size. The result was opposite with a path in the middle, a tree right in the pitch ("just set up slanted", slept with head down for 1 night) and no one from the staff cared, we were simply left standing. The next day I wanted to talk to the operator. My girlfriend and I were intimidated, threatened, and made to look out of touch with reality. Furthermore, it was said that "opposite and next to each other is a matter of interpretation..." So much for us and the interpersonal acquaintances of the Hexenwäldchen team. The site itself is run-down, sanitation is poor to rancid, when hot water comes it is only hot, great with kids. Once a day they "clean" with a pressure washer. Toilet paper and soap always had to be brought along, even when you are bathing and nature calls. The animals there are kept at the lower end of animal welfare laws, a sad sight. But no one wants to hear about that either. The entertainment mostly comes from parents/adults who are also on vacation there. Sometimes great, sometimes not so much. Additionally, the operator tends to violate data protection and engages in defamation regarding negative reviews on Google. I was linked to a review and mentioned directly in the comment with name and address (the review was not from me). If you are easy-going it can be a nice vacation. Critique and other opinions are not well received here. One good thing came from it: due to our departure after the first night, we found a wonderfully beautiful nature campsite that is run with love, dedication, and joy for the campers. Thank you Hexenwäldchen team for being so foolish!

We were there with our daughter and a family friend with a son of the same age. The location is indeed beautiful and the kids had a blast at the lake! The strictly enforced quiet time from 10 PM also has its merits. However, it really only leaves one option: to go to sleep. Even quiet conversations were reprimanded. Well... we can cope with that. However, the sanitary facilities are absolutely unacceptable. No soap, no paper, cold water and all of it half outdoors. No thank you! Once and never again! Such a shame really. The place has potential but I think they are only cutting costs and making profit under the term "nature camping".

The campsite is very nice, and especially the campsites in the forest offer a great atmosphere. Only the toilets are not that great. But they are sufficient. I would always recommend this campsite, especially for events like the Bulli and Friends meeting.

I got stranded at this campsite in October 2020 while I was out kayaking. The site is located in the middle of the national park and has its own lake access. The staff is very nice and helpful. Only the sanitary facilities were not exactly inviting. The site itself is great.

I was there with two kids and had a very relaxing weekend. The kids had their fun at the beach, with the animals, on the playground, and in the evening with stick bread at the campfire. The covered pool was also great. The site is not so huge but offers a wide range of recreational activities. Sanitary facilities have been modernized and are completely sufficient. We were very satisfied and would love to come back anytime.

Naturcamping Zum Hexenwäldchen is synonymous with camping holidays close to nature for the whole family. With a nature education concept, the aim here is to get back to basics: using less energy, cooking in the open air and spending quality time together. Families, couples and groups alike love the fantastic location in the centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District and directly on Lake Jamelsee.
The Zum Hexenwäldchen nature campsite is located in the middle of the forest, picturesquely surrounded by the Müritz National Park and the Mecklenburg Lake District. This site is based on a special concept: the operators attach great importance to the ecologically sound use of energy: electricity is generated using hydropower, waste separation, water-saving measures and environmentally friendly waste water treatment are a matter of course here. The site has 70 parcelled out pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents. They are located either in a sunny or semi-shady spot with a view of the lake or in the middle of the pine forest. To keep the air clean, cars must be parked in a separate car park. Free cooking and barbecue facilities are available. The campsite is characterised by its family atmosphere. Nature, adventure and unspoilt nature lovers in particular will get their money's worth here. During the day, the surrounding lakes and forests offer a wide range of leisure activities on land and water. Evenings are spent cosily with music and bread on a stick around the campfire. Children love the playground and the campsite's own petting zoo with pigs, sheep, ponies, donkeys, rabbits and free-range chickens. Also worth emphasising is the night-time peace from 10 pm, which is strictly observed. The next morning, you can start the day rested with crispy, fresh bread rolls, which you can order the evening before.
The Mecklenburg Lake District, also known as the land of 1000 lakes, invites you to enjoy a wide range of activities on the water. The campsite rents out canoes and kayaks. These can be used to explore the Müritz National Park from the water. You can spend hours walking along the small and large lakes and will always be enchanted by the diversity of the natural and plant world. A well-developed network of cycle paths tempts you to go on extended cycle tours. Both normal bikes and e-bikes can be hired directly at the campsite. The Burg Stargard leisure centre and summer toboggan run, around 50 km away, is ideal for a day trip. The town of Neustrelitz with its zoo and castle gardens is just 20 km from the campsite. Water fun for the little ones and relaxation and wellness for the adults is also offered by the Naturtherme Templin.
