Rip-off!! NEVER BOOK THIS CAMPSITE!!!!! We, as a couple with a dog, booked a large pitch in the Erlengrund area months ago (to have our peace and quiet). A few days before arrival, we were rebooked to a pitch half the size next to the children's playground. Our caravan wouldn't even fit there. We then asked for a larger pitch. Response: the pitch would be entirely sufficient. However, when we insisted on another pitch, our booking was CANCELLED without our consent... and the cancellation fees were charged to us in the amount of our deposit!!!!!! Utter disgrace... Complete rip-off. According to reviews, this has happened before and seems to be their tactic! Looking at the reviews, it seems the campsite is definitely not worth a trip at all. WARNING...

WARNING Scam. We booked a large spot months ago. 10 days before arrival, they moved us to a much smaller spot, where we couldn’t fit our caravan and car at all. When I asked for a larger spot, they simply canceled our booking and charged me the cancellation fees equivalent to the deposit. But I never said that I wanted to cancel. They even said they had to rebook several guests... Mean. Brazen. Impossible. Getting another spot in the middle of summer vacation was then not possible. What an outrage. NEVER book this spot.

Note on my review May 2023! I rated this very nice campsite nonetheless! Since it is unfortunately too expensive, or the tourist tax has been extremely increased, I had written: ... for that money (14 days, about 1100 euros) I could also spend a week in Italy! ... It ended up being 2 weeks at a 4-star site for almost the same money including tourist tax with recognition of my daughter's B-license! Just something to think about!!!!

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, the check-in was quick and without complications. We found spotlessly clean and comfortable sanitary facilities. Beautiful biking and hiking trails. Despite it being the off-season, many restaurants and services at the site were already open. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful, pure peace and relaxation. This deserves more than ten stars. And those who complain about prices should better stay home in the future. Camping has long ceased to be a cheap holiday and rising wages, energy costs, and local taxes must somehow be financed by the operators.

Parking space Erlengrund (larger area, plots) very neglected. The last cutting of the grass is hard to imagine. Grass and weeds are about 30-40 cm tall in some plots. Larger bare areas. Here, overseeding is urgently needed in the autumn. For the requested price, one would expect to receive more! On a paved footpath, the stones have been raised by a tree root to the point of becoming extremely dangerous trip hazards. Everything could have been accomplished with a reasonable amount of time.

October 2023
In all my memories of unfriendly staff at the reception, these were once again confirmed during today's check-out on October 7, 2023. We had a pitch by the dike. A power cable of more than 45 meters was necessary here. When I pointed out at the reception that this should be noted, I was told to kindly read the terms and conditions. We paid exactly 247 euros for 5 nights with 2 adults and a small dog. According to a neighboring camper, a pitch for 5 nights by the dike with 5 people amounted to 460 euros. For an untidy sand pitch with a water point 30 meters away and a waste disposal point 200 meters away. For a cold washing and shower area where I had to change the shower cubicle because the sensor of the machines did not work properly. For a campsite without a dog shower even though I had to pay 5 euros per day for it. For a partially littered and poorly lit campsite that is operated by the municipality of Ueckeruetz with maximum profit greed. When I asked at the reception about the justification for these prices, the lady only shrugged her shoulders, simply unbelievable. Given this reaction, I refrained from asking why fish rolls are sold near the reception that can also be used as golf balls on the mini-golf course. Visually, the rolls are drizzled with water and then baked again. We also did not ask why dishes are advertised in children's portions but we then had to pay the price of an adult portion. In conclusion, this site is no longer recommended. The overall service is simply bad...worse...the worst. We had booked a great pitch at a nice little farm for 20 euros all-in. I would like to draw the attention of everyone heading to this campsite to such alternatives.

We were there in June and are more than disappointed! The place is nice in principle, but... What struck me is... why are camper buses about 5 meters long generously placed on 9.5 x 12.5 meter pitches, while caravans (7.30 m) are crammed into 6.5 x 8.5 m? We wanted a different pitch! The allocation seems to be "take it or leave it"! The Berlin-Brandenburgers seem to get their same pitches here every year, so you as a package camper look pretty stupid! And getting a pitch under an absurd tree! Your tent is disgusting brown after the rain! Incredible!!! Moreover, many restaurants and also the shop in the middle of the place are closed! The next negative thing: the visitor tax has been drastically increased! The operator of this site is the spa administration of Ückeritz, which has raised the visitor tax for 4 people to 218 euros (54 euros per person). Madness! Justification: for that you can use public transport for free! Hey, I have the 49 euro ticket! And my daughter is exempt (80% severely disabled) and my wife is her companion! Doesn't help, you still have to pay! After 5 PM, outside of vacation times in MV, there are no buses from the train station to the site, .. great, really awesome! Dad walked down and got the car! In total, we spent over 1100 euros for 13 nights, 1 car, caravan, etc.! Really too much; for that I could also go to Italy for a week! Finally: during our stay, E-bikes were stolen directly from the bike rack on the site! So caution is advised! Eliminate the completely excessive visitor tax again and we will come back!!!
