We stayed with our motorhome at Erlengrund, the first and last time! The sanitary facilities are above reproach. However, this is not a campsite, but a battery farm where motorhomes are parked closely together, separated by road posts. The whole setup resembles a traffic practice area, with absolutely no privacy. Under these circumstances, we also chose to leave early.

The program at the concert shell had something for everyone, whether young or old. There are many small restaurants and shops. The proximity to the Baltic Sea is fantastic, with a great beach. However, the cleanliness at the campsite leaves much to be desired. Trash collection points are not cleaned for several days. Garbage is lying around and smells bad. They don't even mow the lawn when it gets too high - is this Nature??? The paths in the campsite are worn out and need improvement. Flower beds that were once planted are completely overgrown with weeds. The main path in the campsite hasn't been cleaned in a long time. We've never experienced such uncleanliness at a campsite before. The reception is way too small. The staff do a good job, but it is way too noisy. Holidaymakers wait outside, forming long queues. You have to pay more for dogs than for children. This is completely disproportionate.

On the 5 km long road of the campsite, there were quite a few inconsiderate campers driving around, and the night traffic ban was not observed. Given the size of the campsite, more sanitary facilities are needed.

Rip-off!! NEVER BOOK THIS CAMPSITE!!!!! We, as a couple with a dog, booked a large pitch in the Erlengrund area months ago (to have our peace and quiet). A few days before arrival, we were rebooked to a pitch half the size next to the children's playground. Our caravan wouldn't even fit there. We then asked for a larger pitch. Response: the pitch would be entirely sufficient. However, when we insisted on another pitch, our booking was CANCELLED without our consent... and the cancellation fees were charged to us in the amount of our deposit!!!!!! Utter disgrace... Complete rip-off. According to reviews, this has happened before and seems to be their tactic! Looking at the reviews, it seems the campsite is definitely not worth a trip at all. WARNING...

WARNING Scam. We booked a large spot months ago. 10 days before arrival, they moved us to a much smaller spot, where we couldn’t fit our caravan and car at all. When I asked for a larger spot, they simply canceled our booking and charged me the cancellation fees equivalent to the deposit. But I never said that I wanted to cancel. They even said they had to rebook several guests... Mean. Brazen. Impossible. Getting another spot in the middle of summer vacation was then not possible. What an outrage. NEVER book this spot.

Note on my review May 2023! I rated this very nice campsite nonetheless! Since it is unfortunately too expensive, or the tourist tax has been extremely increased, I had written: ... for that money (14 days, about 1100 euros) I could also spend a week in Italy! ... It ended up being 2 weeks at a 4-star site for almost the same money including tourist tax with recognition of my daughter's B-license! Just something to think about!!!!

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, the check-in was quick and without complications. We found spotlessly clean and comfortable sanitary facilities. Beautiful biking and hiking trails. Despite it being the off-season, many restaurants and services at the site were already open. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful, pure peace and relaxation. This deserves more than ten stars. And those who complain about prices should better stay home in the future. Camping has long ceased to be a cheap holiday and rising wages, energy costs, and local taxes must somehow be financed by the operators.

Parking space Erlengrund (larger area, plots) very neglected. The last cutting of the grass is hard to imagine. Grass and weeds are about 30-40 cm tall in some plots. Larger bare areas. Here, overseeding is urgently needed in the autumn. For the requested price, one would expect to receive more! On a paved footpath, the stones have been raised by a tree root to the point of becoming extremely dangerous trip hazards. Everything could have been accomplished with a reasonable amount of time.
