Santitärhaus was ok, not good, just ok. It is a nature spot with limited comfort. Unfortunately, there are a lot of permanent campers. Suitable for a short stay and moving on quickly. For the price, I have really seen better. Scenically, this is among the top 5 in Germany, but the campsite really has nothing to do with it. Lots of construction sites and corresponding traffic. No thanks, once and that's it. And the kitchen on-site? Why is Paulaner served here? The service has to deliver food simultaneously and is thus under constant stress. That is not enjoyable. The kitchen itself is average.

Nature camping, yes that's it

Free choice of seats, partly beautiful spots. Unfortunately, the toilets for men smell. Proper cleaning is sadly lacking. Otherwise, a nice pitch. The inn, well, it's not exactly something great. One eats because hunger drives it down... Unfortunately, there was construction work during the vacation, but yes, what must be, must be. The staff is okay, one cannot agree that they are unfriendly.

Very close to nature camping

Beautiful campsite with natural pitches. Here you have the opportunity to have trees and bushes as neighbors and to look out the window at nature in the morning instead of another camper wall. We were even visited by foxes! Despite the spot being closer to the main road, we were able to experience a quiet holiday. The sanitary facilities are very tidy, baked goods and snacks in the office building were fresh and fine, and the restaurant right at the campsite is really good!. The Isar river around the site was also great for swimming and relaxing. You have excellent connections to Mittenwald, Wallgau, and also to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We traveled by bus everywhere. Overall, a very nice campsite, although the prices are a bit sporty.

Very beautiful place in the green

A nice place, pretty spots in the green between trees, super starting point for hiking. Depending on the pitch, you can hear the road, which is often the case. The sanitary building is tidy. Anyone who writes a review saying that the place is a nuisance because the branches scratch larger motorhomes should perhaps take their travel bus to one of the campsites with an attached golf course. However, for those who go camping to spend time in nature, this is exactly the right place.

Beautiful Natural Campsite

Very good8

March 2023

Very nice campsite with great value for money. Negative reviews seem to expect a bit more glamping here. The site can be easily accessed even with caravans over 9m. Yes, the area is intended for vacationing; those expecting a lot of activities, etc., are in the wrong place. The only star deduction is because the showers could be a bit cleaner.

Very sporty price for no performance. Unhygienic, unfriendly, and unkempt. What a shame.

Did not feel comfortable...

December 2021

A beautiful, natural, wooded place, modern sanitary facilities. Actually, everything was fine for us. However, we did not feel welcome at all (to put it politely) and we did not feel a sense of well-being. Therefore, we left earlier than planned.
