Access route
Continue on B207 towards Mölln. Branch off north of Buchholz towards the sea. Last 200 meters are on an unpaved road.

Pure nature, but complicated
The sanitary facilities are clean (06:00 AM), but since the paths are unpaved, not for long. Men's toilet from 1960, small cells and not enough.

Narrow access, noisy federal road, outdated sanitary facilities but beautiful location
The site has a great location right by the lake. It was pleasant that different parking areas break up the site. The access to the site is particularly narrow for caravans. The same goes for the paths on the site, which are also partly very uneven. Most of the pitches do not have a view of the lake.… More

Quiet Nature-Close Camping
In the off-season, the campsite is very quiet, right by Lake Ratzeburger, and the owners are very nice.

Hiking Path
We spent 4 days at the site with a mobile home. We were lucky with the weather and had very nice neighbors. The visit to the restaurant surprised us, very good value for money and it was very tasty. The sanitation was clean and the staff was very nice.

Nature camping! In this case, unkempt and careless.
Everything is tight and very uneven. Sanitary facilities are outdated and unclean. Toilet flushes are partially broken. Disgusting! The restaurant on site is unkempt, but the service is very nice. All in all, only bearable for a weekend in good weather.

Pleasant campsite, beautiful location, but the paths are problematic for larger vehicles.
We were at the campsite for a long weekend in July. Nice swimming area, good accessibility from the highway and attractions. We particularly liked the sea-scented pigs. Friendly staff. The sanitary facilities are adequate; we are not overly demanding, and there could be more water retrieval points.… More

Narrow, poor access, small parking spaces, old sanitary facilities.
Every square centimeter is utilized here. The guy lines of the tents partly cross each other and the RVs are parked very closely together. Next to the parceled areas, there is a large meadow without bush or tree, which is also uneven. Nature camping here means bad paths, bumpy and/or sloped pitches.… More

The family-friendly campsite is located directly on the shores of Lake Ratzeburg and has its own bathing area. In addition to a family atmosphere, the Naturcamping Buchholz campsite offers state-of-the-art camping comfort. Holidaymakers can enjoy the wide range of sports facilities on the site as well as the impressive natural surroundings.
Idyllic campsite in the centre of the Lauenburg Lake District
The Naturcamping Buchholz campsite, which is located around 500 metres from the town centre, covers an area of 3 hectares, most of which is left in its natural state. The individual pitches have supply and disposal facilities for motorhomes and electricity connections with 16A fuse protection. There is also WLAN on many pitches. Most of the 92 pitches have a marvellous view of the lake. Guests can also experience the nature-loving character of the campsite at the campsite's own bathing area with sunbathing lawn. A lakeside footpath leads directly past the site. From here, holidaymakers can set off on an approximately 6 km hike to the island town of Ratzeburg, which runs alongside the lake. Active holidaymakers also get their money's worth on Lake Ratzeburg. The campsite rents out canoes and rowing boats as well as suitable life jackets and is an ideal starting point for tours across the Lauenburg lakes. For younger guests, the campsite has an exciting playground with a slide, seesaw, swings and a sandpit. The sanitary facilities have recently been completely renovated and are heated when it is colder outside. The campsite also has a mobile sauna, which promises relaxation and an uninterrupted view of the lake. Guests like to meet at the restaurant, which also offers a daily bread roll service.
