Hi there! For a stay of 3 to 4 days, it’s fine, but we wouldn’t definitely stay longer. The sanitary facilities could really be better, but we aren't too picky. The reception was nice, and the Greek restaurant was really good. A good place with a dog, the lake and swimming there are really great. Great cycling paths, and a small playground. The pitches are sometimes very sloped and uneven. Our pitch was okay (F16). Riding e-scooters on the site is almost impossible, biking is so-so. A small but lovely beach, also with a dog. Overall, I’d give it a score of 3.

The site has a great location right by the lake. It was pleasant that different parking areas break up the site. The access to the site is particularly narrow for caravans. The same goes for the paths on the site, which are also partly very uneven. Most of the pitches do not have a view of the lake. A disaster is an old sanitary building. 3 narrow shower cubicles, no washing cubicle. Humidity like in a sauna. Toilet use by slightly more corpulent people is best done by going in backward and coming out forward. Very crowded during high season.

The Naturcamping Buchholz campsite, which is located around 500 metres from the town centre, covers an area of 3 hectares, most of which is left in its natural state.
