We found the private bathroom by the site very pleasant. Unfortunately, the assigned parking space is tiny, the caravan + awning barely fits on it, the car does not. The playground is small and in front of the entrance, almost outside the premises, much too far from the parking space. For the trampoline, you need a key, which must be picked up at the reception; if it is not staffed (12-16:00), you are out of luck. Otherwise, nothing is offered for children. No snacks at the reception, only alcohol. Otherwise okay, we were there in the low season.

Unfortunately, the campsite is not as shown on the website. The sanitary facilities are in a dirty and run-down condition, only the men's washroom next to the reception was okay. The time of camping at the site has presumably been replaced by the Tiny House, barrel, and shepherd's wagon holiday.

Check-in is partially only possible via a machine by entering a long number, a QR code would be better. The machine does not always work. Place neglected, pitches too small. The pitches with private bathrooms are necessary, it is easier to clean these every few days than to clean a large sanitary building used by everyone every day. There is more emphasis on mobile homes, tiny houses, sleeping containers, and shepherd's wagons here. The price/performance ratio does not match, but somehow the new mobile homes have to be financed. The location directly on the Altmühl could be better.

Well located, bike paths nearby, beautiful old town of Beilngries. WiFi did not work for more than a week - afterwards?, no water or sewage connection at the lot, entire site unkempt, loud school groups changing frequently, too expensive for the "performance". Max. 3 stars with goodwill and squinting like a chicken.

Arrived without reservation. Reception not staffed, the check-in via machine did not work, as apparently no parking space was available. Prices significantly increased, for two people with a motorhome for one night €51.50!!! The site was relatively unkempt, the men's sanitary facilities were partially flooded. The site owner advertises in a lavish brochure with tiny houses, barrels, and mobile homes for his "glamping site": "Those who do not keep up with the times will be left behind." For us, it is clear: never again there and not recommended for real campers. For those who want to go water hiking, the location is acceptable.

In the off-season, the place is okay. The small bathroom by the parking space was clean, and we had our peace since the barrels were unoccupied. Nice starting point for bike tours and hikes.

Thank God we were only on the site for one night. The sanitary facilities are far too small for the venue. There was loud partying, laughing, and singing until three in the morning. I am a musician myself, but no one needs that. For a measly 40 euros, I didn't sleep the whole night. Never again :(((((((

The tiny houses and barrels are probably just fine, but as campers, it is really not recommended. Reservations and information are only available via email, as there is no phone option (only waiting on hold). Booking highly advertised boat tours is not possible for months. The sanitary facilities are a long walk away and superficially in order, but upon closer inspection, dirty and in poor condition. On-site, there is a vending machine for coffee, snacks, and drinks - these are always empty and the rest is broken. Wi-Fi is also not available - allegedly due to technical issues (already for over a week). The only functioning faucet is sinking in the mud (a bucket of gravel or a few stepping stones would solve this). As campers, we find ourselves surrounded by "barrel dwellers" who celebrate loudly well into the night. Our significantly more expensive water pitch is in front of a meter-high hedge - behind which is the water, but you cannot see it. When asked, I was not given an answer as to why the higher price is justified. We are extremely disappointed, especially considering the price-performance ratio. Never again!
