The reception is modern, and the staff is very friendly. However, the overall impression of the campsite gives the feeling that it has been stuck in the 1990s. Upon closer inspection, one notices defective facilities, cluttered areas, and somewhat neglected permanent camping spots. Some old items and objects urgently need to be removed or disposed of. It is also unusual that only cash payments are accepted in some shops. This is likely to deter younger guests, as card payments are now standard practice. Additionally, access to the beach is challenging. The lowest step is particularly high for elderly individuals. With a critical eye, thorough cleaning, and the rectification of existing issues, this could be a very nice camping site. At present, however, the facility appears neglected in many areas.

A relaxing place in the middle of nature. Here, everyone slows down. There is often little mobile signal to connect to the internet, which can be a very healing experience. Children are playing together again! Fantastic. Those who can manage the 9 km to the Baltic Sea in Zinnowitz by bike or car will feel right at home here. In the small shop, you can find everyday essentials, and at Achterwasser, you can indulge in water sports.

The campsite is beautifully located in a pine forest, right in the middle of a nature reserve and directly by the Achterwasser. There are wonderful walking paths. Thanks to the pines, it is always a bit shady, and it doesn't get too hot in the tent. Our children were very happy with the playgrounds, and we had no worries about letting them run freely. The sanitary facilities are very clean and receive thorough cleaning every morning, with additional cleaning in the afternoon and evening as needed. I would wish for taps with motion sensors at the sinks, and it would also be practical in the showers not to have to press the water again every few seconds - especially since the water supply is paused after 4 minutes, but one can adapt to that, and it's really just complaining at a high level :-) We had a very nice 14 days at the site. Many thanks to the team.

Overall, the stay at the campsite was disappointing as the receptionist sent us off without assistance. We had to find our own spot with no support. In addition, there is internet only in the restaurant or at the reception. As for the beach, it is not a real beach, but just 2 meters of sand followed by gravel, then mud and garbage. Additionally, the access to the campsite and the distance to the nearest villages is very time-consuming, which does not improve the situation. I would not recommend it.

Very beautiful, right in the forest. However, there can hardly be talk of a beach, as there’s only a narrow path by the water, and one must occasionally walk through the water to reach the path. Unfortunately, we were next to people with a permanent pitch that looked like a junkyard. The people there kept the entire campsite entertained deep into the night. Otherwise, if you have another pitch, you can probably enjoy the peace well.
