A fantastic campsite that truly deserves the name nature camping, featuring large plots with plenty of grass, electricity (16A), and connections for water and waste disposal. The layout is slightly winding, ensuring privacy for campers. The sanitary facilities are acceptable, and there’s a small minimarket that offers a bread service, even on Sundays. The staff is very friendly. The lake nearby provides good opportunities for some water sports, and while the cycling path surrounding it is well-built (except for the section through Bautzen), you hardly ever see the lake and there are next to no dining options apart from the swimming area at the campsite. Bautzen is charming; you can discover quite a lot there and stock up on the famous Bautz‘ner mustard at the specialty store. For short trips, this is the perfect spot.

Super beautiful campsite in a lovely location, very good and clean sanitary facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. The site is well suited as a base for beautiful bike tours. The proximity to the A4 was somewhat disturbing (noise).

An online inquiry/reservation was answered kindly and promptly. Likewise, the friendly, professional reception. Quite large parking spaces. Elevated, very clean sanitary facilities. About 250 m to the long sandy beach with sunbathing areas. There boat rentals, playground, beach bar, beach volleyball, snack bar, music, etc. This very well-kept, well managed site comes highly recommended. Great!!! But always new incidents: When calculating for 3 nights, alongside the "waste fee" of 3 EUR, a "service charge" of 3 EUR appeared.

In September 2023, we stayed for 10 days with our two dogs at this beautiful, well-maintained, and very well & friendly managed site. The location of the site is optimal - located right by the reservoir, but also within cycling distance to Bautzen and a large shopping center. The immediate & broader surroundings are very lovely and invite to numerous visits, hikes, etc. Bautzen is a very interesting, picturesque & lively little town. Within a 1-hour drive radius are Görlitz, the Bad Muskau Landscape Park, the Zittau Mountains, and the Saxon Switzerland. A perfect place to relax and unwind, but also to undertake "exploration tours"! The site itself is absolutely top-notch, the sanitary facilities are always super clean even when nearly fully booked, and heated - quite pleasant in September. The staff are always friendly & helpful - highly recommended!

This is truly a great spot! Well structured. Everything is there. Nice staff. But you can hear the motorway everywhere. Not very loud, but if it bothers you, you won’t be happy here. The ADAC should remove the symbol for a quiet location from the overview. That is not true.

Hello, we were in a small group with tents over the weekend here and were very impressed! Kids had their fun!

We were at the campground for the first time for a weekend. Very positive. Sanitary facilities up to date and clean, friendly and helpful reception. Large children's playground. Large pitches. The nearby highway is a bit audible but did not disturb us. We will definitely come back.
