About 250 m to the long sandy beach with sunbathing areas. There boat rentals, playground, beach bar, beach volleyball, snack bar, music, etc. This very well-kept, well managed site comes highly recommended. Great!!! But always new incidents: When calculating for 3 nights, alongside the "waste fee" of 3 EUR, a "service charge" of 3 EUR appeared.

In September 2023, we stayed for 10 days with our two dogs at this beautiful, well-maintained, and very well & friendly managed site. The location of the site is optimal - located right by the reservoir, but also within cycling distance to Bautzen and a large shopping center. The immediate & broader surroundings are very lovely and invite to numerous visits, hikes, etc. Bautzen is a very interesting, picturesque & lively little town. Within a 1-hour drive radius are Görlitz, the Bad Muskau Landscape Park, the Zittau Mountains, and the Saxon Switzerland. A perfect place to relax and unwind, but also to undertake "exploration tours"! The site itself is absolutely top-notch, the sanitary facilities are always super clean even when nearly fully booked, and heated - quite pleasant in September. The staff are always friendly & helpful - highly recommended!
