Between Trier and Koblenz, the river is accompanied by busy roads on both banks. Combined with heavy boat traffic, this situation at campsites located by the river may lead to disturbances.

In Cochem via the northern Mosel bridge, sharp left, follow the sign 'Moselbad' on the Mosel riverbank road 1 km downstream. Signposted.

Two days are enough
Actually, the campsite is not badly located. Unfortunately, there is no bread roll service, many pitches are very sloped, the cables lie unprotected over the paths, there is no coffee in the camper area, and the sanitary buildings are very dated.

Spent 2 nights here on the way home
The campsite is nicely located right by the Moselle. It's not far to walk to the town of Cochem, which is worth a visit. Nice site right by the Moselle
Very friendly reception. Pitch in the front row. Size of the pitch completely okay. Sanitary building old but always clean during our stay. Location great for visiting Cochem, 2 km on foot.

Okay for a stopover
The campsite is relatively muddy in wet weather. The sanitation facilities were not really good and clean. The location to Cochem is great. About 1.5 km walking distance to the old town. A short stay is okay but not suitable for a longer stay.

A Shameful Situation of Hygiene
Here we are now in one of the spots right by the water. Super nice, even though the spot is hardly reachable by car. We got spot number 509.
