From the campsite, holidaymakers can quickly reach the centre of Oberpleis, a tranquil district of Königswinter, on foot. The Rhine to the west is a popular excursion destination in the region, but the former German capital Bonn also attracts many visitors. We were there over Pentecost 2024 from Thursday to Tuesday. The reception was very warm. Under the new owners, the cleanliness in the sanitary facilities has greatly improved. Some other things have already been modernized. There is still much to do and a lot planned. We wish the Montagnani family perseverance and all the best. In any case, we will gladly come back and recommend the place, The location, close to the city with shopping opportunities and restaurants, yet the peace, nature, and the really nice long-term campers we definitely have to mention as well.

We only made a one-night stop at this campsite. The operators are very nice and helpful, there is a bread roll service and first-class LTE (full reception). The site is well-maintained and nice, and predominantly inhabited by long-term campers.. It is somewhat hidden on the outskirts of the village, but idyllic. The access is a bit narrow, so very large campers might have problems. Definitely recommendable. The price for the overnight stay was reasonable, just be aware that you cannot pay here with a card, and I had to quickly go to the bank to get cash.

You can expect a cosy, terraced meadow area with trees, shrubs and hedges. The campsite is quite intimate, with 60 pitches for long-term campers and only 7 pitches for holidaymakers. In addition to car-free pitches, we also have 3 cosy wooden rental accommodations, though they do not have a private bathroom.

What leisure and wellness facilities are available directly at the campsite?

Right next door is a great leisure centre with an outdoor and indoor pool, a sauna park and a restaurant. Perfect for relaxing after a hike in the Siebengebirge! For children, we have a lovely playground directly on the site to let off steam.

As an honest tip beforehand: The campsite lies between a road and a stream, and a high-voltage power line runs over the grounds. Since it is a terraced meadow area, you will stand wonderfully in the green. We have Wi-Fi for you in the reception area.
