Very clean camping site, although mobile homes dominate. Location right by the dunes and the dog beach. Facility is very well-kept and clean.

[+] great beach, good supermarket, okay pool, and overall the infrastructure [-] noise, completely unsuitable sanitary house for families, hardly any classic camper clientele We have two daughters (5 & 9) and we are caravan campers. We are used to camping where you greet others, help out, share a beer here and there, and the kids quickly make connections and friends. That wasn't the case here – mainly due to the language barrier – but also because the vast majority of this site consists of mobile homes and only a comparatively small part has pitches for caravans/tents. The holidaymakers have apparently known each other for years, and thus the German holiday children are quickly on the outside. The entertainment is great, but only in Dutch. One can't blame anyone for being on holiday abroad, but it contributed to the children not really fitting in. Although the mobile homes all have their own sanitary facilities, the residents actively and extensively use the sanitary house, which is actually reserved for campers. This is only announced via a notice, but not controlled or supervised. Later in the evening, almost only teenagers are running around, who obviously also like to smoke and use drugs in the washhouse. Those who hang around outside honk around with their e-scooters half the night. The security service doesn’t seem to care or is overwhelmed by it. Unlike the short drone flight I launched. A security guard was immediately on-site: "Flying drones is not allowed here!" Speaking of sanitation: The water temperature of the showers cannot be adjusted and is set relatively hot. This also applies to the family washrooms where you want to shower your kids. It was way too hot for the children. There is only a single shower head that can be adjusted. The one at the baby bath. Therefore, the sanitary facilities were a complete failure for us. You need to be lucky with the pitches. We were a bit further away from the main road on a relaxed parcel and thus had our peace. However, there are also pitches where someone glances into your awning every few minutes on their way to the trash, etc. We saw some unhappy holidaymakers on pitches who didn’t deserve to be called that. The supermarket is great, well-stocked, and open daily. And the swimming pool is good too. Here it should only be noted that there is no (!) shade. Not nice at all on hot days. A few sun sails at least in the children's area could provide relief. Electricity and water/wastewater at the pitch are good, plot size super, and the overall standard completely okay. But you also pay for it... The nearby beach is fantastic. Despite the peak season, it’s really quiet there and simply has great dunes. The path there is no problem for adults and is even really nice. For children and wagons, it’s hardly doable since the sand is so deep that you hardly get anywhere. Overall it was okay for us and we had a really nice holiday. However, we will not be heading to this site again.
