⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Disappointing stay with avoidable problems** Before our arrival, we were informed that an overnight stay with our 6 children in the Sterneblick chalet was not possible. However, upon arrival, it became clear that it could have been possible (for example, with the little ones sleeping in the parents' bed). This discrepancy caused confusion for us. In this context, we also booked a pitch for our motorhome, which we ultimately did not use. Despite our notification on the day of arrival, the pitch was fully charged, including additional costs (water and electricity). There were also inconsistencies during the billing process, particularly regarding the person surcharges. We find the processes on site (for example, booking activities through an app at fixed times) to be inflexible. Additionally, some offerings for children are expensive.

A well-maintained facility, friendly staff, a paradise for children.

The pitches are very beautiful and spacious. The sanitary facilities are super modern and clean. All the staff are very nice. The mini-golf course is very beautiful.

After many years, our path has brought us back to Lauterbach, and we were thrilled with everything that has changed over the years. Excellent sanitary facilities, great cleaning staff, everything was spotless. Perhaps there were a few too few swimming areas in relation to the size of the site. The reception was exceptionally friendly, and we had a very nice spot.

The campsite is nicely laid out, but unfortunately there are too few toilets and showers, leading to constant waiting in line. It's a shame that you can visit the animals only so rarely and that there is an extra charge for cleaning out. Visually pleasing, but functionally in need of improvement.

It's simply a beautiful spot to relax.

We visited the Mohrenhof in March 2026 during beautiful weather and sunshine. The reception staff and all employees were very friendly, and our requests were promptly addressed. Due to my disability (mobility impairment), we again stayed on a handicap-accessible site, which is perfectly flat over a paved area. This eliminates the need to balance out any unevenness. The modern sanitary building is absolutely amazing, all facilities are always clean and accessible for everyone. Although there were several tasks still to be completed at the site and the new reception building before the season-opening Easter, we were not disturbed at all. There is a lot to enjoy on the campsite and in the surrounding area. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. We will happily return.
