Overall a good place. Clean sanitary facilities depending on fellow campers and time of day. Good transport connections to the subway, making it ideal for exploring Vienna. Reception is very friendly. The pitches are about 5 meters wide. If everyone adhered to that, it would be very easy to find a spot. It can't really be said to be very noisy. Considering how close the highway is, it's actually okay. I'm actually very satisfied. Price-performance ratio is okay.

Aside from being able to ride a bike easily to Vienna, we can't say anything good about the place. Unfriendly reception, more of a parking spot than a campsite, we have never experienced such dirty and neglected sanitary facilities, sometimes only cold water in the morning for showering!

More of a parking spot than a campsite, parking spot has to be searched for oneself, O-Ton: Just take a look, maybe you're lucky (we had reserved!), no one checks whether the space limits are adhered to, which is why we had to make three 'rounds' until we found a spot where we could park our van. Sanitary facilities only properly clean right after cleaning, in the evening around 5:00 PM no hot water! The small kiosk is excessively overpriced (and yes - it can be different, experienced at many places!), further shopping opportunities on foot are not available! The really positive: We were allowed to bring our dog! For us, however, especially due to the very unfriendly staff at the reception, it was a one-time affair! What a pity!

I cannot agree with the negative reviews. The place is ideal for a city visit. The sanitary facilities were clean, unless other users left their mess. A small downside is that there are only a few showers. Since the place was fully booked, one had to wait for a free shower at times. However, there are enough toilets and sinks, and when you press the light switch, they are bright as well. The pitches themselves are a bit tight, but then you just place the table group in front of rather than next to the RV. By bike, you can get to the city center in about half an hour since there is a well-developed cycling network in Vienna. In a small shop, there are rolls and croissants in the morning without reservation. And it takes only 5 minutes to walk to the dog run by the Danube. The noise from the highway is bearable.

During opening hours between 7 AM and 11 PM, there are constant arrivals and departures. If there is no "proper" spot available, people will just squeeze into their "own" plot when you are not there. So opening your own door was just barely possible. The note at the reception was "shrugging shoulders." Of course, both will be charged the full price, which is anything but fair. But the demand allows it. The subway and supermarket are about 1 km away. Sanitary facilities are functional.

Since new arrivals should first look for a parking space themselves, the traffic on the site is constantly present and annoying from 7 AM to 11 PM. The nearby railway line and expressway create a constant sound carpet. Relaxation is impossible. Unfortunately, Vienna offers hardly any alternatives, so the pressure for maintenance in the parking lot is low, as things are running smoothly and money is earned most easily. The location/distance to the city center is acceptable by bike. It takes about 30 minutes to ride to St. Stephen's Cathedral.

The place is optimally connected by public transport, the bus in front of the entrance quickly goes to the subway station. The proximity to the center has the disadvantage of traffic noise. When we were there, on August 3rd/4th, the sanitary facilities were always clean.

The campsite is so far the worst we've visited. The "pitches" are very small and due to the almost constant (except at night) access, there is a constant flow of traffic. Constantly maneuvering caravans/motorhomes... which also makes the stay with children extremely dangerous. The toilets/washing areas... are unkempt and often dirty. The toilets ver.... Additionally, there are endless queues in the morning and evening.. To the left of the campsite, the highway passes by, and on the right, there is a heavily trafficked railway line. The playground is virtually nonexistent! All in all, a loveless and poorly maintained campsite with stressed staff. And yet the campsite is doing very well due to its proximity to the city and the Danube. As a stopover to explore Vienna, it's doable, but the campsite could definitely offer more... Just with minimal effort, reaping maximum profit...
