Small and quiet, family-friendly campsite on the kilometer-long sandy beach of the Darß peninsula on the Baltic Sea. Undulating terrain in the forest under tall trees. Only very few pitches for caravans or motorhomes (max. 7 m length). Direct beach access via dune terrain. FKK (nudist) only on a separate beach section 200 m away. Narrow, unpaved access road for the last 800 m.

We are extremely disappointed! The website advertises 'idyllic and peaceful amidst nature', but the reality looked different: Upon our arrival, there was an extremely loud open-air party happening at the outdoor stage – music until well after midnight. We were not informed during booking or arrival, even though we were traveling with a baby. Particularly frustrating: We were given one of the most exposed spots right in the noise zone of the stage. The night quiet mentioned in the terms and conditions from 10 PM to 8 AM did not actually exist. Anyone seeking peace, nature, and family-friendliness will be bitterly disappointed here. We feel deceived and cannot recommend this place.

The place is dreamy, tall trees, very nice campsite managers, right by the naturist beach (which seems to not concern many guests: impudently getting dressed on the beach and even sometimes sniffing at naked people. Hopefully it will improve with the new fine regulation, where finally clothed people at the naturist beach will have to pay fines). Sanitary facilities are top-notch, but the women’s area is way too small given the number of guests. It felt like the site was massively overcrowded. I don’t know tent distances this tight. Particularly bad: the situation right at the fence: tents are placed so close together for about 100 meters that the guy lines are even crossing in some places. A snorer keeps three tents awake, zero privacy + when it starts to burn, nobody gets out: only a narrow access path, no fire safety distances, no fire extinguishers, no escape routes, and all of this in a dry pine forest.

This place is a dream for nature and Baltic Sea lovers. There is direct access to the sea, dogs are allowed, and the site operators are exceptionally friendly.

Directly located on a very beautiful sandy beach. Not overcrowded - very good value for money.

Meißner's Sonnencamp is located on the edge of the idyllic Baltic seaside resort of Prerow in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In the shade of tall pine trees and just behind the dunes and the sea, Meißner's Sonnencamp offers 7 pitches for caravans and motorhomes and a spacious, unparcelled meadow for tents. There are also well-equipped wooden holiday homes and caravans for hire with a kitchen and space for four people. The Baltic Sea is just a few steps away from the campsite, where you can swim and relax. The Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park, which borders directly on Meißner's Sonnencamp, with its diverse flora and fauna, is best explored by bike or on a hike.
Guests at Meißner's Sonnencamp are delighted with the exceptional location in the dune landscape. The friendly team is on hand to provide holidaymakers with tips and suggestions during their stay.
