Since this campsite was rated very well by ADAC, we wanted to test it ourselves during the autumn holidays. At the reception everything was great. Friendly staff, a well-stocked supermarket, restaurants & the subtropical pool is especially great for the kids. Given that we are already expecting not "optimal" weather during the autumn holidays, we like to look for something where the children (8/11) can also have fun in the rain. We had our spot in the E area. In terms of location and size, it was quite okay, but it shouldn't have been smaller. Unfortunately, fresh water and grey water connections were not possible. In general, the connection stations are very outdated. The paths resemble bumpy roads in some places and are quite narrow with the trailer (van + single-axle trailer). This did not improve due to parked cars. The washrooms are aging & the cleaning crew was rude & unclean.

In itself a beautiful place. But the connections at the parking spot are not even remotely up to date. The power connection is far too weak and not even sufficient for a Senseo coffee machine, even after disconnecting all other consumers! The tap at the spot is designed only for drawing small amounts of water and no hose connection is possible. Water only flows as long as you operate the difficult pressure valve. Even filling the water tank with a watering can becomes a torture. The drain at the motorhome disposal station was completely clogged, so you end up standing in the mud.

Great campsite with lots of wonderful offers for big and small children. The price-performance ratio is absolutely superb! Even the supermarket has normal prices. Many restaurants at good normal prices rounded off the site.

We had a fantastic holiday! The swimming pool, the white-water slide, and the other slides made us have incredible fun every day!! The animation offers are great - especially the inflatable castles in the tennis hall and the train, as well as the playgrounds, provided us with a wonderful time. Everything is perfectly clean. The staff is super friendly. The supermarket has a great selection, and the rolls are super delicious. The best place we have been to so far. We have booked again right away.

Actually a nice place. We had a pitch with private amenities. So far, everything was great. Nice swimming pool. Great for kids. Food offerings, supermarket, all excellent and now the downside.. In bad weather, the place is a disaster. Uneven and unpaved, the stay unfortunately turns into a mud fight. Even in the awning, rubber boots were necessary because everything was muddy. So bad that we ended our vacation early. This is not fun. And the night-time peace also left a lot to be desired. Until late into the night, the lids of the garbage containers clanged. Loud music and screaming, young campers at night. Okay, the operator can't help that. But it was very disturbing. I don't want to completely downgrade the place, but I don't recommend it in rainy weather.

We were in Marveld over the long weekend. Due to the good reviews and the high price of €85/night, we expected much more. The sanitary facilities were only cleaned once daily, even though the site was fully booked. The number of showers and toilets was far too low for the number of guests. The toilets were completely dirty shortly after the daily cleaning. The showers were partially cold and had very low water pressure. There were long lines at the sinks in the morning and evening, and parties with loud music until late in the evening. The pitch itself was okay. The swimming pool was also okay. Unfortunately, the central playground is very far from the pitches. We cannot understand the positive reviews and will not return to this site. There are many better and cheaper sites in the Netherlands.

We were there this year the week before Easter. In area E, it was very, very muddy where the tent should have stood due to rain, but thanks to a corner spot, we were able to move back five meters, so it was dry. However, you need a waterproof ground sheet. Other spots have the same problem, not just in area E. The swimming pool is great, the locker system a bit tricky, but help is provided if something doesn't work, but there could be more helpers. All the many playgrounds are fantastic, and you can also cycle into town for shopping; you have to experience the Festing Express, it's an adventure for kids. The sanitary facilities in area E were actually always clean; one toilet leaked a bit, but I've experienced worse. Many reported that the sanitary houses have aged, but I didn't find that to be the case; you can't carry out a complete renovation every year, and where many people come and go, there will also be signs of use. The supermarket in the area also has relatively humane prices and a good selection. The staff is always helpful and very nice everywhere. In summer, the outdoor pool with the water playground is surely a highlight; it definitely looked great. We will definitely come back!
