Marušina Olive Hills

The campsite is located in the middle of an idyllic olive grove on the Croatian island of Krk and offers you a close-to-nature experience. You can camp here on cosy pitches or stay in comfortable rentals such as glamping tents and wooden bungalows with their own terrace. The view of the bay of Punat is simply wonderful!

You can expect modern, lovingly designed sanitary rooms with lots of wood and chic showers. A real highlight is the small, round pool with a wooden terrace for relaxing. For that little bit extra, the operators have even built a wooden deck with a whirlpool from which you can look directly out over the sea.

The terrain is terraced on a slope and surrounded by Mediterranean stone gardens. Due to the hillside location, you have a great view from many corners, but you should be prepared for some slopes. The ground is quite firm and stony, typical for the region, which underlines the wild and romantic character.

As the campsite is currently not bookable directly via PiNCAMP, we do not have any up-to-date prices. However, you should keep the following cost factors in mind when planning your holiday:

• Pitch rental: Varies depending on the season and chosen category.
• Additional costs: Electricity and water are usually charged separately or as a flat rate.
• Visitor's tax: The local tourism tax is due per person per night.
• Dogs: If you are travelling with a four-legged friend, there is often a small extra fee.
• ADAC Campcard: It is best to ask directly when making your enquiry whether discounts are accepted.

The journey takes you to Punat on the island of Krk. As the ground on the pitches can be stony and hard, you should definitely pack sturdy rock pegs and a hammer. A well-motorised car is an advantage for accessing the hillside site.

The campsite itself is very quiet and close to nature. For shopping, fresh bread rolls or a cosy restaurant visit, it is best to drive to the nearby town centre of Punat. The local shops and konobas there have everything a camper's heart desires.
