A beautiful spot in a lovely house. However, it was completely ruined by the reception staff. I had booked the house with an all-inclusive package. This apparently did not include towels. Even though this is clearly stated in the information email. Upon arrival at the reception, I was told that I would receive them for one day and would have to buy them for the rest of the week! When I pointed out that I found the wording in the email misleading, I was verbally attacked. The second time it escalated all the way to my car.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend MarinaPark Bad Nederrijn for families with babies. Upon our arrival, the bungalow was dirty and full of mosquitoes, spiders, and other insects. Since it was extremely hot, we had to pay 17 € per day to activate the air conditioning. Only after did we realize that it barely worked due to the exhaust hose through the open balcony door. The door could not be closed, allowing warm air and other insects to come in. We also regarded this as a safety risk. As a solution, we were only offered insect spray and a cleaning for the next morning. Since there wasn’t a satisfactory solution, we left on the day we arrived. On a positive note, the travel price was fully refunded – but only after multiple inquiries.
