Great dive base, very relaxed campsite. The access to the sea is somewhat adventurous, though. The sanitary facilities are very outdated and urgently need renovation. With a motorhome and without a scooter or something similar, you are stuck. The price/performance ratio is at least questionable. However, we will come back, albeit outside of the season and then only to dive.

The pitches are different, depending on the class and position. Our pitch was very large, I could easily park my car on it and also have a pavilion. There are sunny and shady spots. It is very clean there. It was cleaned multiple times every day. There is only one toilet block, but it is enough for everyone. We never had problems with showering or washing dishes. The sea is a dream, but not for lying by the sea. At least not for us as everything is rocky. Water shoes are a must. Highly recommended for divers. The access road is sometimes a bit narrow, but no issue. I would prefer to book directly through Valamar. Very good contact person. We had to leave earlier for family reasons. No response or callback from PiNCAMP. Everything was arranged through Valamar. We only had to pay for the time we were there. Wi-Fi is very good. Direct streaming possible.

The pitches are clear, spots by the sea are very nice, restaurant in the complex is okay, but nicer is it in front of the barrier where there are 3 restaurants and a supermarket. On the premises, there were daily baked goods and fruits/vegetables... It’s nice to sit in the bar by the infinity pool at sunset... You can also rent SUP boards from the vegetable man. However, the nearest towns are a bit further away, but if you're looking for peace or heading to the excellent diving school, this is the right place for you 🤙 beautiful vacation!

Our experience with the campsite has been overwhelmingly positive and I cannot share the negative experiences of my predecessors. The access to the campsite is indeed quite steep, but should not pose a problem for experienced drivers. The staff were very nice and helpful during check-in. To better orient ourselves when choosing a pitch, we received a map, a price list, and a list of booked pitches and reservations. This way we could directly look for our ideal spot. The pitches are very different and not all level or the same size. But you have the choice. If something is not to your liking, you don’t have to take the pitch. The washroom is centrally located, modernly furnished, and I can imagine that it can get crowded during the high season. But perhaps one should just avoid peak times. The sea is quickly accessible from every spot and is a dream for divers and snorkelers. The house reef offers a wonderful underwater world. You can see the first fish immediately when you enter the water. The beach consists of coarse gravel but does not offer many sun loungers. However, if you look on Komoot, you can find many bays nearby where it’s quieter. The dog beach is quite small, and you have to see when you can catch a quiet moment. Nearby there is a small supermarket, restaurants, and various vendors where you can find everything you need for life. Otherwise, you have to drive a bit to go shopping. There is also a delivery service where you can order groceries, drinks, and various dishes online, which are delivered free of charge. I haven't tried the service, but I like the idea. Conclusion: We are having a great time here and will definitely come back.

The place is truly beautifully located and the view from many pitches is unique. Everything is available on site, so you actually wouldn't have to leave the site during your vacation. In terms of cleanliness, the site is okay. There is a separate children's pool with animation, but the playground could be a bit larger. The price/performance ratio of the food and drinks is okay. But now comes the downside: The advertised pool is far too small for the number of people, the water is mostly lukewarm and murky. Swimming is out of the question; however, if you enjoy simmering in your own juices with constant noise, this is the right place for you. The sunbeds have to be paid for separately everywhere and are placed very close together. There are several accesses to the sea, all of which are a bit cumbersome. Here, too, it is always overcrowded; anyone looking for peace, relaxation, and nature is definitely in the wrong place. The pitches in the same category vary considerably in size; we had Premium mare E14, and our car barely fit on it. For me personally, the absolute no-go is the much too small washhouse, which is quite centrally located but does not come close to sufficient for the number of guests. The dishwashing places and the 3 washing machines are also permanently occupied.

I absolutely cannot understand the recommendation and rating by the ADAC. Even the approach to this campsite with a caravan or motorhome is a nuisance. A roughly 5 km long and very steeply descending road that is in deplorable condition. Very narrow, without curbs, and bumpy. With oncoming traffic, it becomes almost dangerous. It is the only access road to the site, and every field path in Germany is better developed. The site itself has a beautiful location, but the pitches are a disaster. Small, cramped, and due to trees in the most unfavorable positions, they can only be accessed with great effort. We had a Premium Mare pitch, but premium was nothing here. The pitch was in terrible condition. Extremely uneven, like almost all the pitches, and very very unkempt. On our pitch (No. 24), there seemed to be the leaves from the last three years. No one had removed weeds here. With the slightest wind, everything was stirred up, and I practically never needed to put the broom down. Forget the pictures on the homepage. It is not like described there at the site, and certainly not the staged pictures are accurate. The sanitary facility is also far too small for the size of the site and much too far away from many pitches. The campsite is also far too expensive and might be suitable for divers. Nothing for those seeking relaxation and older people. This was one of the worst and most expensive sites we have had in Croatia so far.

A week’s stay at the end of May 2022 at this beautiful and cozy campsite near Labin and Rabac. Currently, the site was perhaps 20% occupied. The approach from Labin is not as bad as often described. The reason larger vehicles should not approach is not due to access, but because of the size of the pitches. I would love to come back. What I liked: - The site is not too big and very well organized - There are several dining options on the site or just before it. There is a vegetable stand and a bakery centrally located. A small supermarket is easily reachable on foot. - Quite a central washhouse, very clean and adequately sized. - There are a lot of divers here, but very few dogs. - Friendly reception staff who speak good German. - Several small pebbled beaches, many sun loungers. - A pool for children and another by the bar on the beach. - Most pitches are easily accessible, not too slanted, but some are quite small. The Premium Mare pitches 16 - 24 are very nice, BUT they are poorly usable due to olive trees. These plots are quite overgrown and obstructing the view. What I liked less: - In strong gusty winds, the pitches on the north side are not very usable. You are completely exposed to the wind. (The site can’t really do much about that) - The Wi-Fi can almost only be used with an external antenna.

A very beautiful campsite. Quiet atmosphere, lovely places, and the price is great. Nice different beaches, crystal clear water, friendly staff – what more could you want? The cleaning staff is present until late in the evening. We were there after the holidays and really enjoyed the peace. This is a campsite that does not have a highway yet and everything runs very quietly. We had no problems arriving with our motorhome. We will definitely come back!

The Marina Camping Resort Resort on the east coast of Istria is the perfect holiday paradise for bathers and water sports enthusiasts. The campsite on a picturesque peninsula is surrounded by the mighty peaks of the Ucka massif on one side and white beaches and great diving spots on the other. The highlight is the diving centre, which invites you to explore the fascinating underwater world of the Mediterranean.
Relax on the beach, enjoy the view of the crystal-clear sea and take a dive or two. Guests at the beautiful Marina Camping Resort in Istria get all this and more. The campsite is a real insider tip, especially for diving enthusiasts, as it not only has some of the best diving spots in the Adriatic, but also its own diving centre on site.
But it's not just water sports enthusiasts who are in the right place here: the terraced pitches by the sea with views of the Kvarner islands and the cosy mobile homes create the perfect ambience for a relaxing summer holiday by the sea. The excellent service and wide range of leisure activities also make the Marina Camping Resort a favourite destination for families with children.
The Marina Camping Resort offers plenty of pitches for all tastes, from simple to luxurious, on the stepped 5-hectare meadow site. Many of the pitches are located directly by the sea and offer wonderful views of the Adriatic Sea and the offshore islands. Most pitches are equipped with electricity connections. WLAN is available free of charge throughout the site.
If you are not going on holiday with your own motorhome, you can make your dream of having your own house by the sea come true in the cosy camping homes. The mobile homes are fully equipped and offer a terrace, sun loungers and storage space for diving equipment. The luxury camping homes, which have their own kitchen, bathroom and several bedrooms, are even more comfortable. The perfect place for a holiday with the whole family!
Guests who book the pitch with half board enjoy the special flair of the campsite with its excellent culinary service: Home-cooked meals can be delivered directly to the pitch or camping home on request. Local specialities and dishes are served in the Bistro Punta. There is also an à la carte restaurant and a pizzeria. Self-catering guests can buy fresh food in the well-stocked supermarket and kiosk.
The 100 metre long Sveti Marina beach on the south side of the campsite is the perfect place to relax. This pebble beach is ideal for families with children thanks to its shallow access. There is also a dog beach on Uvala beach, which is sheltered by rocks, where dogs travelling with you can cool off.
The diving centre at the Marina campsite is the first port of call for anyone who wants to explore the colourful underwater world of the Adriatic. Here, beginners and advanced divers can hire diving equipment, book group or individual dives or learn their first steps in the diving school. Taster courses and trial dives take place in the magnificent infinity pool, which boasts a fantastic view of the Kvarner Bay.
The professional team will then take you to one of the best diving areas in the Mediterranean, where you can admire unspoilt nature and the wreck of a merchant ship that sank in 1914. Younger guests, on the other hand, will appreciate the heated children's pool, where there is a water slide. Right next to it, professional masseurs invite you to enjoy soothing treatments in the wellness corner.
The Ucka Nature Park near the campsite is ideal for long hikes. The starting point, for example, is Vela Ucka, around 50 kilometres from the Marina Camping Resort. This is the starting point for a 12 km tour up the Vojak, which is just over 1,400 metres high. It's worth taking a break along the way on the Plas nature trail, which features information boards about the flora and fauna of the natural dorado.
Guests can follow in the footsteps of the patron saint of all travellers on the hiking trail of the goddess Sentora. The route runs from Labin, 9 kilometres inland from the campsite, to Rabac on the coast. In addition to cultural treasures such as the Fortica fortress, active holidaymakers can look forward to the numerous waterfalls of the idyllic Pećina stream.
