Campsite Intro
On the Danish island of Falster, Marielyst Familiecamping offers an exciting holiday for young and old with its own water park and plenty of nature. The family-orientated, dog-friendly campsite has rental accommodation as well as pitches for caravans and motorhomes. They are part of a huge wooded area with three idyllic lakes, a petting zoo and beautiful walking trails. There are two playgrounds for children. There is also a mini golf course and a fire pit for barbecues and roasting bread on sticks. Around 800 metres from the campsite is the kilometre-long white Baltic Sea beach in the cosy coastal town of Marielyst, which is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Denmark with its wild dunes and great bathing opportunities. Scottish Highland cattle and wild Konik horses can be observed on hikes in the Bøtøskoven nature reserve.
