Out of 7 days, we spent 12 😌 we were at the MainCampResort campsite in Zellingen with our sons (8 and 2 years old). Everything is very clean, well-maintained, and natural. The pitches are very large, with a public swimming pool right next to it. The trains on the other side of the Main didn't bother us, and the passing ships were a highlight. There is no gastronomy, but there are beer gardens, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. Our children loved it immensely. The owner and the campsite manager are super friendly and helpful, very child-friendly 🥰 We felt just great, and we will come back next year!

The trains run at a very tight schedule even at night. It is very loud. The playground doesn't have a closing time! Sanitary facilities are managed via containers. Pictures of the playground no longer reflect the current state. The price-performance ratio here is not right. Relatively expensive for very little comfort and offerings. It is right by the water, which is quite nice, but that's about it! And peace and relaxation is rather difficult with all the noise!

In the river valleys, there are often roads and railways, but they disturb little as they are on the other side of the river. You can take very nice bike tours from here. We will come back.
