Løkken Strand Camping

Beautifully situated campsite behind the dunes near the sea. Very simply furnished facilities that are aging. Restrooms that have smelled strongly of old fish. Definitely overpriced for the presentation.

The only good thing was the location.... The sanitary facilities are so old and poor, they should be closed... As well as the kitchen. The lady at the reception speaks very poor English and sometimes gives incorrect information... The owner, when confronted with the issues, simply said: just don't come back...

The location and the parking space are actually a very nice spot that could be developed into something! But the sanitary facilities urgently need a fundamental renovation, ideally a complete rebuild... old, dirty, small, just like the supply and disposal options! During our stay, loud music was played and celebrations took place until early in the morning, so sleep was out of the question😡

Unfortunately the worst campsite of the 4-week holiday. Arrival after 8 PM. Paid full price, credit card fees on top. No indication of a quick stop. Unfortunately, only read about it too late on the website. This is not good service... The lady at the reception speaks poor English. My 5 Krona coin was exchanged for small change. However, I couldn't pay for the family shower with that anymore. The small coins are only accepted in the individual showers. With a 2 Krona coin, you cannot shower in time as a man. It takes 30 seconds for the water to reach the right temperature and the remaining time is not enough to soap up and rinse off. No display for remaining time or duration per 2 Krona. I had to wash the soap off half-naked at the sink. Sanitary facilities are ancient, half-clean, floor super cold. Better keep going and look for something else! The beach and view are also 500 meters away in both directions 😉 The next morning I was with the owner. He speaks excellent German. I politely raised the issue that I would consider it good service to inform arriving guests about the quick stop rate after 8 PM. Grudgingly, the difference was refunded to me even though I didn't want it at all. I was laughed at for my criticism of the shower. He did not want to engage in a test with a stopwatch. He insists on 2 minutes running time for 2 Krona. Afterwards, his mood dramatically shifted and he threw me out of the reception. -> Better look for another campsite. Especially with children, I wouldn't want to be here.

Simply maintained campsite, but with a good location. A major downside is the sanitary facilities, which are aging and often dirty due to the many guests. Relatively expensive site, which charges a special fee for "extras" like Wi-Fi or electricity.

A simple but very beautiful quiet place. Nice site owners. Good shopping opportunities nearby.

The price is very affordable, so the place is recommended. The location is truly unbeatable; however, the small shop will probably never reopen, so about 1.5 KM must be driven to Løkken in the morning if fresh rolls are desired. The sanitary facilities are already several years old...we personally find that too old now and prefer it to be more modern...
