August 2023
The campsite was specifically designed for surfers. Those who come in the high season should not be surprised if it is overcrowded. We were there at the end of August and there were still plenty of spaces available. It is located right on the main road. The pitches themselves are quite nice. We were very grateful for the lounge in the service building due to the bad weather. It is really nicely furnished. The pitch is quite expensive and showers cost an additional 20 kroner. For that, you can shower for 6 minutes, with a timer that counts down. Since it is stated here that you would get a discount with the ADAC camping card, we chose this place. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We paid around 400 NOK (with van). Washing machine and dryer also require coins. Coins can be obtained at the reception. It is in the service building, which has a lounge and café. Anyone who wants to eat or drink here should have enough money in their pockets. The staff is very friendly. We felt very comfortable. The price-performance ratio is okay compared to other campsites.

A spot at a fine sandy beach. A new and an old sanitary building belong to it. The washing-up has to be done outside, unfortunately the toilets (8) and showers (8) are often occupied. A site equipped with washing machines and dryers, overall quite nice.

Campsite in a stunning location with a direct view of the sea from the front row. But that’s where the positives end. The electricity connection is overpriced, and it costs 20 kronor for 6 minutes of showering. If you love washing dishes outside in the rain and storm with cold water after waiting in line, if you love waiting in line for the toilet and shower – then this campsite is perfect for you. The infrastructure, although relatively new, is completely inadequate for the number of campers and youth groups accommodated here. Just the French youth groups alone comprise about 100 people!

For motorhomes divided into 15 A and 5 A areas. The 5 A area is a bit more rustic and uneven but has more charm. You choose your little spot on sandy/grass hills and maneuver until you're settled. The view of the many hiking tents reminds me of my active hiking days! Many young people! The newly leveled area is modern with new electrical pillars and gravel pitches. The sanitary facilities are top-notch, there’s nothing to criticize! But the highlight is the bar/bistro area. Delicious salads, small dishes and not too expensive. Very tastefully decorated, lots of light wood, built-in bookshelves in the wall and modern furniture! All in all, the best I've seen in Norway.

Great, super sanitary facilities. It's a shame that you have to wash outside because the weather doesn't always cooperate. The outdoor washbasins only had lukewarm water. Everything in the building was top-notch and clean.

The campsite is beautifully located by the sea. You can pitch your tent right in front of the sandy beach. The sanitary facilities are new and clean, and there are enough of them. There are washing machines and dryers. This was by far the most beautiful campsite on our trip to Norway.
