Lido Camping Village

The location is great, but: - No toilet paper - Showers requiring payment (not very modern) - Non-functioning showers (wasted token) - Showers only release a little water (a pleasant side effect was that, after lathering, rinsing was no longer possible) - Soap dispensers are completely missing - Electrical protection at 3A (using, for example, an electric kettle was impossible) In summary, the basic service is lacking. I cannot recommend the visit.

We were at the site for 34 years, but what has become of it! Showers and sanitary facilities getting worse and dirtier every year, unimaginable garbage situation, the site lives solely from its location and the beach! Dog poop, dogs swimming in the beach area has all become normal. During our vacation, for example, we could come and go 24 hours a day, sometimes the reception wasn't even staffed, the barrier was open! It adds up, the final goodbye is thus very easy for us.

Very nicely located camping site, dreamlike location directly by the lake. Nice pitches located under the trees. Sanitary facilities are clean, washing machines for laundry are also available and easy to use. The area is very historic and Bolsena or Montefiascone are easily reachable by bike. We are happy to recommend this camping!

Unfortunately, we didn't get along well with the site, even though we would have liked to stay longer in the area. Beautifully situated by the lake, good lake access, many shady spots. Sanitary facilities were clean and well-maintained. It felt designed for large crowds in the summer (where the pitches appear very tight), the restaurant is nicely located but lacks charm. Waste separation is on and in itself great, but it's difficult when you can only bring the waste to a collection point during a few hours of the day. In general, long distances to fresh water as well. Attention: Hot showers only with coin (1 Euro). We also found it strange that we were required to pay in cash.

Very nicely located. Absolutely recommended during the off-season. Partly long distances to fresh and waste water. The "Lago di Bolsena" with its dreamy surroundings is one of the most beautiful lakes in Italy.

I have already been to this campsite with my parents in my childhood. For 14 years, I have been going back there very happily with my family every year. Initially in a tent, now with a caravan. It's very nice, there is something for everyone. Children's entertainment, children's disco, windsurfing, wine, and oil tasting at the nearby oil mill (battaglini). By train, you are in the middle of Rome within an hour. By car, you can reach the sea in one hour. The sulfur springs (saturnia) are also reachable within an hour by car.
