Nice campsite, well-kept, helpful staff, great connection to London

Superb10

Jessi

June 2019

We were greeted warmly and were helped right away since we traveled by car and tent and hadn't considered that we needed a special adapter for the camping site electricity to connect our extension cord. Even when we wanted to organize tickets for a sightseeing attraction that we forgot to book in advance, the staff made great efforts to assist us. We could buy day tickets to London directly at the campsite where they also provided us with a timetable. The connection was excellent as the bus departs right in front of the campsite. The pitches were well-maintained, however, we got a pitch with gravel for our car and since our tent was directly connected to the trunk, we had to set up sideways - for us, a pitch on a lawn would have been more helpful. The showers were free, clean, tidy, and available in sufficient numbers.
