April 2024
Unfortunately, I cannot say whether something was good or bad, as the supposedly open year-round site is unfortunately closed in mid-April. Relying on the information from Pincamp, we headed there as one of the few campsites in the area. We are now on a parking lot, right on the beach, but without electricity and without any facilities.

Sanitary facilities are quite dated, water is either boiling hot or nothing in between, hence maximum 3 stars. Enclosed dog run is quite okay. Large plots with electricity. Dog beach and mini market closed at the beginning of May. Pay attention to the access due to height restrictions!

In October, not much is open anymore, and so we ended up there. There wasn't much going on, and we had a lot of peace and quiet. You can only hear the trains, but it didn't really bother us. The sanitary facilities were clean, and there is even a dog shower available. The pizza and other dishes in the restaurant are good, and the staff is very nice. You park your caravan or motorhome right by the sea and can hear the waves (partially with a view of the sea or a hedge in between). Only when it is fully booked in summer, it is certainly not as relaxed and quiet, and rather cramped. To access the site, you have to take a detour to get under the right underpass (height), and our GPS first led us past it, which was annoying because then we had to turn back with the trailer through the narrow streets.

The reception was friendly.. okay no German but English was fine. Sanitary facilities were clean and tidy this time of year. (there were only 5 RVs on the site). Otherwise endless pebble beach. The village has nothing special. Be careful when accessing. Freight trains at night can be VERY loud depending on the wind.

Quality site with green meadow and trees directly by the sea with a pebble beach. The railway is audible. Reception very friendly and German-speaking. Sanitary facilities not checked. Access to the site is problematic due to the low railway bridges with larger motorhomes. Not through the town as the GPS suggests. Way too narrow streets and too low underpasses. Access only via SS16 then Via Aldo Moro then Via Milano!

Very average place at the gravel natural beach. Nature means unkempt. The sanitary facilities are clearly quite old and are rarely cleaned. No paper, no soap. Just about acceptable for a stopover.

almost underground standard, old shabby no toilet seats (like almost everywhere on the Adriatic), was the worst place on our trip to Italy, access adventurous, dug out afterwards under the railway line - at most 3.50 m clearance and anyway very narrow - no rolls, once the hot water was gone. Reception was not - as stated - speaking German, but relatively friendly. Here one should be able to speak a bit of Italian.
