We were at the campsite for three days in May. A beautiful place, very quiet at this time of the year with super nice operators. I've rarely seen such a clean place, which is also beautifully landscaped.

Good: Clean sanitary facilities - high cleaning frequency, location with direct beach access, good for summer: Shady pitches in the pine forest, but too dark/no sun in autumn. Natural pitches = very nice. Sports and play offers (football, volleyball, basketball...), friendly staff. Trash bins for waste separation at every corner = good. You get everything on site - from animation, supermarket to dining. We did not use the pool. Bad: Outdated electrical system - circuit breaker trips when using a normal kettle, sometimes no good motion detectors for water and light supply in the shower stalls - annoying when showering. Many places for washing dishes with cold water spread out over the site, but washing dishes with cold water?! At the wash house only 2 additional dishwashing options with access to lukewarm water = not enough.

The place is actually very nice. The sanitary facilities are also good. There are far too few showers with hot water. You have to stand in line for that. The playground is aging and almost all the equipment is broken. The pool also needs a thorough cleaning. It costs 1 euro per hour, which is also outrageous, as the place isn’t exactly cheap. But the worst of all are the many dogs. No one says anything when they are taken to the beach, although there is a dog beach 200 m away and in Italy, dogs are actually prohibited on the beach until 30.09. Throughout the area, dogs are marking and peeing. Can't we separate that? (Dog zone). Very unpleasant to be woken up in the morning by barking. At the seaside, it is sometimes very stony and it gets deep immediately. Not suitable for non-swimmers. Ant infestations... probably doing the business of the year... everyone first buys powder and spray.

We had a beautiful spot right at the front by the sea, hardly any neighbors due to the layout of the pitch. The beach is beautiful, and in the evenings, there are stunning sunsets. The swimming lake is gorgeous, unfortunately, it's for a fee. Our sanitary facilities were getting old, but perfectly clean. They will be renewed next year.

The spot is nicely located and those who have not made a reservation in advance will also find nice spots in the off-season. However, those who have reserved a spot must settle for relatively small, uneven, and difficult-to-access spots for RVs. In our case, the spot was right by the waste bins (1 meter distance from the RV!). Although there were still plenty of free spots available, we were denied the change, citing the contractual terms. For a lot of money, spots are rented that no one else wants! Esperidi once and never again.

Esperidi is the first Italian campsite we have visited, and we have set the bar very high because everything is perfect at Esperidi! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the pitches are beautiful (anonymous), and the entire site, including washrooms, is spotlessly clean and very well-maintained! Esperidi offers everything you need: the sea at your doorstep, a supermarket, a fruit & vegetable shop, a dog bar (dog ice cream), a store for everything you might need: gas bottles, air mattresses, toys, etc. On Thursdays, there are small stands selling handicrafts. We have now been here for three consecutive years, and it feels a bit like our Italian home. It is nice to reunite with the Italian long-term campers who are very warm-hearted and happy. We find it very difficult to go elsewhere because it is simply perfect here for both humans and dogs!
