The campsite is quite central, the sanitary facilities were okay BUT - don't eat at the restaurant there. We paid 15 euros for a bad defrosted pizza (confirmed by the waiter). UNBELIEVABLE.

The location on the edge of the village is positive, the beach and center are within walking distance. The site itself is characterized by cabins and rental accommodations (about 2/3 of the facility). The pitches are relatively small, for our camper we had booked a ‘Comfort’ pitch, which was just 9x6 m in size. The sanitary building has probably been modernized in recent years, we cannot confirm the poor ratings of older comments. The amenities are extensive, pool, playground, snack bar, small shop, etc. And thanks to the proximity to the village, everything is available anyway.

Vacation in a caravan, 2 adults + 3 children: We arrived and the reserved spot was occupied, off to the reception, oops they forgot to inform us that our pitch had changed. No problem, our correct spot was located in the same field. Speaking of pitch... Big enough, water connection nearby, electrical column easily accessible, the only issue was that the ground could (when we visited it was dry) turn into a mud pit in rain. Those with a penchant for airplanes should enjoy it here, as the site is directly in the flightpath of Amsterdam Schiphol. However, it really didn't bother us much. The staff deserves a lot of praise, always friendly, always approachable, there was nothing to complain about. The supermarket at the site is well-stocked, the selection of rolls is abundant. Now to the sanitary facilities... Quite a walk from our pitch but okay. To say in advance, the showers and toilets were very clean at all times. However, the building could benefit from a little renovation. The showers with fixed showerheads were easy to set to the right temperature, the water hardness was good, the flow a bit too weak. The shower cabins lacked storage space and one has to live with water running in from the neighboring cabin. That was a bit unpleasant, so I always took the family cabin, as there was more space and nothing ran in. Disabled shower and washing cabins are available. However, the soap dispenser and towels in the toilet are hung so high that children would have difficulty reaching them. We can't say much about the washing facilities, as my brother-in-law and sister-in-law had a chalet on the same site, which was used for eating and washing. The chalet itself was fine, although some pieces of furniture showed their age. Upon our request to extend our stay by one day, they responded with the usual friendliness and an additional payment of 35 euros. Okay, we had to move, but that is understandable. Conclusion: We felt very comfortable, and if one is not bothered by occasionally low-flying planes, the site is highly recommended in a dune-like environment, especially since the town is easily reachable on foot in 30 minutes.

The sanitary facilities urgently need to be revised. They were only clean until recently.

We are currently spending our vacation at this campsite. The staff is very friendly, the sanitary facilities are very clean, and the location is ideal for dog owners. We will definitely come back.

The site is about 1 km from the center. However, it is very outdated. The sanitary facilities are very old and unkempt. The spots for the RV are very small. At least the WiFi was good.

This campsite is about 5 minutes from the sea by bike. There are places here only for motorhomes, a large area for caravans, partly terraced, and a somewhat separately located area with XL spaces for caravans. There is also a large area with chalets. There is only one bathroom, but congestion rarely occurs. It's a shame how some guests leave the toilets. There is a small supermarket with fresh rolls by the reception. The restaurant is good for snacks or quick meals but rather serves pre-packaged dishes and pizza. Quite okay but not for a really nice meal out. The pool opens at the end of April, I believe. The entertainment team puts in a lot of effort with parades, children's disco, etc. It must be mentioned that the staff are super nice. Everyone greets you and puts in a lot of effort. The cleaning staff are also great.

We used this place for a weekend in November. Overall, the site is nicely laid out with individual separated areas with pitches and you can also book fixed chalets. However, in November everything was very dreary (which may be due to the month) and many areas were under construction and were being renovated and were closed/not usable. The pitches themselves are relatively large but right next to each other. A hedge here and there to the neighbor would be nice. The pitches are actually equipped with grass/meadow, but our pitch (like most others) was just a muddy field. It was previously plowed and flattened there. It was quite a challenge not to carry all the mud into the camper, especially when you have a dog with you... The sanitary facilities were top-notch! Everything clean and well-maintained. It is a bit of a walk to the city center, which didn’t bother us. We will give the site another chance in summer. Probably not again in winter, as there are (especially for the price of nearly 30€ per night) much nicer places.
