Koljonvirta Camping

You can look forward to a spacious, approximately 16-hectare site right next to the picturesque Koljon River. The pitches are located on mostly flat, partly gently sloping meadow terrain, which is dotted with occasional medium-sized trees and hedges. You will have plenty of space to relax in the green surroundings.

Since the campsite is located right on the river, water sports enthusiasts will be in their element. There is a private jetty with berths as well as a practical boat rental. After an active day on the water, you can warm up and relax in the campsite's own sauna.

A quick tip for your trip planning: The nearby road is within earshot, which makes arrival very straightforward but might bother light sleepers. On the plus side, you are only 200 metres from a public transport stop and can reach the centre of Iisalmi in just 5 kilometres.

Since the campsite is currently not bookable online through us, we do not have daily rates. You should consider the following cost factors when planning:

• Additional services such as boat rental, bicycle rental, or sauna use

Absolutely, the site also caters to winter sports enthusiasts. Just 5 kilometres away, you will find a groomed cross-country ski trail. Arriving with a car and caravan is straightforward thanks to the flat terrain and good transport links, but make sure to bring appropriate winter equipment for the Finnish winter.

For a quick snack or an ice cream, there is a cosy kiosk directly on the grounds. If you are planning larger shopping trips, you will find a grocery store and a well-stocked supermarket in the town about 3 kilometres away.
