KNAUS Campingpark Rügen is located in the north of the Baltic Sea island of Rügen, separated by a narrow strip of forest directly above the cliffs. The beach attracts visitors with its natural sand and pebble beach. A separate dog beach is located in the direct neighbourhood of the camping park. The very rural and quiet campsite is around 2 km from the village of Altenkirchen with its small shops. Cape Arkona with its spectacular cliffs is 10 km from the site. A few shady hedges provide privacy on the pitches at the campsite.

Site
Partially flat, partially slightly sloping meadow terrain, divided by low privet hedges. Individual groups of deciduous trees on the edge of the site. Situated above the steep coast. Partial view of the Tromper Wiek and the opposite coast.
Access to water
Access to the approximately 300 m long and 10 m wide beach via two steep iron staircases. Mainly coarse gravel beach with sandy strips near the water.

Very nice campsite
We like this campsite because it is a smaller campsite and is located in a quiet area. It offers everything that is needed. The pitches are spacious (comfort pitch) and provide privacy. There are many opportunities for excursions by bike. The reception is always very nice and warm. We will come back… More

Good campsite
Nice place with room for improvement. Restaurant still closed! Location and restaurants easily reachable by bike. Fish sandwiches and similar items accessible on foot from the neighboring site.

Beautiful place
The stay was good. The staff very accommodating. The fact that the gastronomy is practically non-existent is a very big problem. With the ambiance and then no gastronomy is inexplicable.

The operator cannot do anything about the constant wind. However, it should be noted in the comments. The entrance area / stairs have not been cleaned this year.
