KNAUS Campingpark Leipzig is located in the middle of nature and yet close to the city, between the Auensee lake, the extensive Auenwald forest and the kilometre-long course of the Neue Luppe river.
The small lake offers opportunities for pedal boat trips and the nature surrounding the campsite invites you to take long walks and cycle tours. Leipzig city centre is only 7 km away. The tram stop with direct links to the city centre is 1 km from the camping park. The pitches are spread over a meadow area with numerous shady trees. There is a barbecue area with a barbecue hut right next to the camping park. There is also a large children's playground and a practical multi-purpose sports field directly on the site.
A typical city campsite, suitable for trips to Leipzig and the surrounding area.
Direct bus and tram connection to the city center.

The campsite is perfect for exploring Leipzig. The bus line stops right in front of the campsite. The sanitary facilities are very clean.

Unfortunately, there was no information about the site and also for the apparently great dinner we received zero information. Unfortunately, we could not test it due to lack of info, as we did not know that a reservation was necessary.

The sanitary facilities need renewal, they are outdated. Reception is very friendly. A bonus for Knaus vehicles or long-term campers would be nice.

Booked at short notice. The flexibility of the staff made it possible, as the designated pitches were already fully booked. Late arrival is no problem. A note with the pitch assignment was ready at the agreed point. The only thing that really needs to be improved is the surface of the access road.

Super nice reception from 2 very lovely ladies at the front desk, who had plenty of helpful tips for Leipzig right away. We booked the little house for 2 nights due to its immediate proximity to Auensee House, where an Unheilig concert took place. The accommodation was absolutely fine for the price,
