KNAUS Campingpark Leipzig is located in the middle of nature and yet close to the city, between the Auensee lake, the extensive Auenwald forest and the kilometre-long course of the Neue Luppe river.
The small lake offers opportunities for pedal boat trips and the nature surrounding the campsite invites you to take long walks and cycle tours. Leipzig city centre is only 7 km away. The tram stop with direct links to the city centre is 1 km from the camping park. The pitches are spread over a meadow area with numerous shady trees. There is a barbecue area with a barbecue hut right next to the camping park. There is also a large children's playground and a practical multi-purpose sports field directly on the site.

As city camping it's okay, but the price/performance ratio is not right

The water supply on the site needs to be better distributed. We were on the lawn and it was about 60 meters to the next tap, and the toilets are about 100 meters away from the lawn, that needs improvement. A small sanitation house in the back would be great.

Mega large parking spaces!
extremely large parking spaces ideal for large combinations! Concert hall Auensee directly across. Ideal for overnight stays after the concert. Excellent connection to public transport. Within 30 minutes, you can be in the city center.

Flexibility was really top, thank you! Unfortunately, no recommendation because for one night (here as a transit place) we ended up paying 65€. It is too much for what the place offers. we were warned in advance that it could get loud during the last June weekend. We found that fair.
