We were pleasantly surprised by the campsite, despite the many negative reviews. The staff was very friendly. We had a waterfront pitch further back, where there are additional sanitary facilities - not the newest, but clean. There is a bistro on site, but it is closed on Tuesdays. We arrived on a Tuesday. Nearby, there is a Netto market where you can find everything you need. The Wi-Fi was not good. Unfortunately, the ferry to the other side was not operating due to health issues. If you are fit enough, it takes a good half-hour on foot to reach the Deutsches Eck. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We were there for two nights and would come back again.
