We stayed there for 5 days. The campsite is mainly frequented by seasonal campers, but this is not a problem. The site is rather small, and the washrooms are clean and well-maintained. The large pond looks quite brown, probably due to the high iron content, but our children still enjoyed swimming in it every day with the stand-up paddle. This likely annoyed the anglers there, but no one complained. Besides the pond, there is a small playground for small children and a common room with books and games, but there is hardly anything for kids on the site. However, since we had Castle Dankern about 5 km away (the reason we were there), this site was just right for us. If you want a few days of relaxation and peace, this is the perfect place for that. We will gladly return.
