We were passing through and spent two nights at the Frickenhausen campsite. For a night or two of stopovers, the place is perfectly fine; however, the work of the cleaner needs to be criticized. The cleaning equipment left in the sanitary building should have been used. They were just placed there and taken away after an hour. The shower rooms and toilets in the women's section were not cleaned during our two-day stay. Thick spiders on the walls, dead flies on the shelves, and drains clogged with hair are simply unacceptable for guests. Perhaps the operators should occasionally check the cleaner's work.

The campsite is not really well-maintained. For a daily price of 49.20 euros, you can expect more. Upon our arrival, we were immediately informed that the restaurant and the public swimming pool included in the price were also closed. The condition of the sanitary facilities and cleaning area was, however, the biggest disaster. During our 18-day tour, we did not encounter such poor facilities, and the prices were significantly cheaper elsewhere. Sinks were filthy and covered in food scraps, and not cleaned. The toilets were dirty and the flushes didn’t work (feces would remain, causing clogs), which was very unpleasant. The showers were unsanitary and filled with hair. It seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was a strong smell of urine. The sanitary area should be renovated as soon as possible given the price. We cannot recommend this place, not even for a stopover.
