Pure nature, a relaxed atmosphere, and direct access to a lake. The campsite is idyllically located right next to a small clear lake. The surroundings are excellent for walks and hikes. Anyone who opens their eyes in the morning can immediately see reindeer. The lake itself is clean and invites swimming or simply relaxing by the shore. The site is rather simply equipped, but that is exactly what makes the charm of this place. There are clean sanitary facilities that are regularly maintained.

The Basecamp Nordkapp campsite offers a unique location with breathtaking views of Norway's rugged landscapes. The pitches are well-kept, and the sanitary facilities are clean. Particularly noteworthy is the warm and inviting atmosphere created by the friendly staff. For adventurers, this is the perfect base to explore the North Cape. A real highlight for outdoor enthusiasts who want to experience the beauty of nature! Reindeer roam the site.

Very nice campsite located by the lake, 20 minutes drive from the North Cape. The tent area is right by the lake and has 2 table/bench combinations. The kitchen is a bit small for the space. (4 cooking plates, 2 sinks) but the dining area is nice. Sanitary facilities are okay - a bit dated but cleaned every day. Hot water for the shower is free. The operators are extremely nice and helpful, giving tips for hikes in the area. Conclusion: I felt very comfortable here and would love to come back - even though the operator didn't want to guarantee this year's century weather for next year. 😏😄

Small place by a lake. Nothing special, just functional for the visit to the North Cape. One night with a camper (3 people) cost 420 NOK. The small village of Skatsvg is easily reachable on foot. Just stroll around. The two restaurants are super cute, but there’s nothing for a vegetarian "in tow" (fish or reindeer). The women’s sanitary facilities are great. Newly renovated. The men’s, well. Some toilet doors were so stuck that they couldn’t be closed. Toilet stains and graffiti. Cleaning staff came regularly, and the toilets, sinks, and showers were clean.
