We were in September in the northern part of the area with our caravan. Everything is fine. Sanitary facilities are top-notch and clean. Staff is nice. Once in a while, you hear an engine noise from the racetrack… We will come back here again..

We were there for the 4th time (always at the end of May). The location in the dunes, close to the sea, in the national park. Close to Haarlem. Nice pitches. Great supermarket. Wonderful! Unfortunately, the washrooms are a bit outdated. There's not always warm water in the showers. No place to set things down in the shower (there used to be some, the holes are still there). Drain in the shower is clogged. More hand-drying options would also be nice. The Wi-Fi is poor. Streaming is not possible. The noise from the nearby racetrack was audible every day during our last stay from morning till evening (previously it was only on weekends).

Chaos at the Booking

The location is very good, dogs are not allowed. Sanitary facilities are old but clean. Why only three stars? Due to a booking error by the on-site staff, we had to vacate the spot a day earlier. Service looks different.

Beautiful facility, noise disturbance from racetrack
Very good8
Andreas
Very nice location in the dunes, great encounters with animals, beautiful bike rides or hikes directly from the campsite. Despite the size of the site, it feels cozy. Prices are quite high for my taste. Unfortunately, there was strong noise disturbance on the weekend from the nearby racetrack, you can hear engine noise for hours. Those who are not good on foot have trouble managing the steep and sandy path over the dunes to the beach. Check-in and check-out are completely automated, meaning without contact with the campsite staff. This is practical but also a bit impersonal. Two attempts to ask questions to the staff failed because no one was present at the reception during the indicated opening hours. Still, a nice place.

We were here for a few days at the end of April and we really liked it, it was very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated but clean. There is a supermarket for daily needs on site.

Close to the Sea, Real Dune Camping
Very good8

We have been here for a week now. The weather has mostly been sunny. Therefore: Very suitable place, as it's really close to the sea (you can even hear it). Overall, everything is clean and tidy. The showers & toilets are okay, but partly not quite up to date. Overall, though, it is clean; one must not forget that it is hardly possible to clean up against all the sand. I would wish for more options to dry hands in the washing houses. Prices for groceries and food are high, as are the washing machines. All in all, it was really nice here, especially because it feels like we're really in the dunes, even though there are obviously built paths and roads.
