We spent a lovely, relaxed week on vacation at the end of August to the beginning of September 2021 with our VW camper van at the natural campsite that was equipped with large plots. The sanitary facilities were very well maintained. Thanks to the direct access to the narrow gravel beach, we could use our SUP perfectly. The friendly campsite owner, who also spoke very good German, always had an open ear for questions and suggestions. We are already looking forward to our next stay at this campsite.

A refreshing change from the crowded and expensive places near the coast. Located directly by the inland sea with access to the Adriatic. Nice small and empty beach, super water, shallow entry. Ideal for children. Right by the site are two good beach shacks with delicious fast food, a small supermarket, and baker. 2 more approximately 5 minutes away by beach. Small place Karin with its own beach, good restaurants, bars, and 2 supermarkets 10 minutes on foot away. No hustle and bustle and no reservation needed! The site has large parcels, selectable with and without shade. Water connections are only available at some parcels, with power columns spaced out around the site. Easily reachable with a longer cable. Sanitary facilities are sufficient and clean for the size of the site. Always soap and paper available! Usually, it’s a matter of course but unfortunately not always the case in this area. The proprietor Slawo is super nice and positively relaxed. As a welcome, there’s a glass of wine or schnapps, and he is around the site from 8 AM to 8 PM. Always ready for a tip and a chat. He takes care of everything and speaks very good German and English. You almost feel like part of the family here. Prices are very reasonable, even in the area for drinks and food. We actually wanted to stay only one night, but after a week we left very relaxed. We would love to come back.

We discovered this place by chance in 2017 and totally fell in love. Here we find a lovingly laid out and well-maintained site that offers everything a camper needs when looking for vacation and relaxation. A small sanitary building, perfectly equipped and spotless clean. Waste separation, dishwashing sinks, washing machines, dog shower. The owners operate the site, are helpful, very nice, and present except for the nighttime hours. A night watchman comes at night. The pitches are large and mostly flat, the young trees do not yet provide much shade. The beach is just a few meters away from the site. We did not notice the ringing of the bells from the adjacent monastery after 2 days. From here, tours can be undertaken in all directions, by car, bicycle, or on foot. Our dog also felt very comfortable here. The essentials can be bought near the site (season), and there are supermarkets just a few kilometers away, as well as a weekly market etc. The village has several restaurants offering good food. So, if you are not looking for animation and constant hustle and bustle, this is the right place for you. Just getting there is a bit exciting with a caravan. Narrow road, winding, and sometimes very tight. But everything is doable. We were here again this year and will come back.

So after we had recovered so well at Pentecost 2017, our journey took us back here. We were surprised that, in contrast to last year, there was quite a bit going on here. But for the high season it was still very pleasant. Also, the supermarket and the bakery around the corner were open, which was denied to us at Pentecost. In the town further on, there was also lively activity. All the bars and cafes were occupied. At Pentecost, they were all still spring cleaning. Amazing what two months can do here. I've read a few times that church bells disturb people. Well, it absolutely didn't bother us, and we prefer it a thousand times over being woken up at 5 AM by the muezzin! The campsite is still brilliant for us. The only downside is that there is still too little shade, but otherwise we prefer this site in all respects compared to those overcrowded mega-campsites. Nice owners, clean, not overcrowded. What more could you want; just the view of the mountains lets the soul dangle. We give a very clear recommendation.

The site is very nice, has everything a camper needs. Always very clean in the sanitary facilities. However, small things like church bells ringing from 6 AM and constant dog barking are disturbing. The site is guarded around the clock and the gate is closed. The healing mud is excellent. Nice owner. We can only recommend it further. For the operator, the church next door ringing the bells early at 6 AM is detrimental to business. Which camper wants to be woken up so early?

Very nice campsite in a small bay with almost a lake-like character. Operators very helpful and friendly. Shopping options for daily needs (bakery and mini grocery store) are adjacent to the site. Opened only in July 2016, therefore still a small number of trees and little shade. Good starting point for the trip to Zadar. The beach directly at the campsite is full of algae and not so great, but a few meters further it is particularly good for families. It is a favorite and a hidden gem for us.
