Nice campsite but not for tent campers

July 2025

We were there for the 3rd year in a row, but this year we clearly felt: tents are tolerated, but it is clear that there is no value placed on them. Motorhomes and caravans are the target clientele. Very unfortunate. We will probably look for another spot.

Very good campsite. We have been here for the 7th time now and have already booked again for next year. The site manager this year was the best we have ever had, super friendly, took care of everything, and kindly directed newcomers. The food at the on-site inn is simply delicious. The special thing about the site is the private toilet with shower that you can book along with your pitch, that's just great. So we would say that overall it is a really nice site. Super place in a dream location

November 2022

A truly very nice spot located on the south slope, offering a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain scenery. You can start hiking tours directly from the spot. Therefore, it is also ideal for vacations with a dog. The mountain lifts are accessible on foot. The site is overall very clean. This also applies to the shower house. The showers even had underfloor heating. The attached restaurant is very good. The operators are very friendly and helpful.

September 2020

Wonderful days at the new KAISER.CAMP In late summer, we had the luck to be part of the trial operation of the new Kaisercamp. At that time, the access road from the center of Scheffau to the Kaisercamp was being widened, making the arrival with the motorhome completely hassle-free. It is important to approach the access via the village center of Scheffau and not, as suggested by some navigation systems, via the district of Blaiken. We were warmly welcomed by the operators Petra and Mike and instructed in the trial operation. The approximately 45 parking spaces vary in size according to space requirements and all have water, wastewater, and electricity connections. Especially for winter campers, the operators have installed a separate gas connection at each pitch, thus eliminating the constant need to swap gas bottles at the motorhome. There is a large bathing house, which is also equipped for wheelchair users and is easily navigable. In the bathing house, in addition to toilets and showers, there is also a dishwashing station as well as a washing machine and dryer. There is also a separate changing room for little visitors. If someone wants to use a special service, they can also make use of one of the 8 pitches with a private rental bathroom. Here, you have a shower, bath, and toilet just for yourself. In summer, you also have the opportunity to cool off in the Kaisercamp swimming pond after an extensive hike or bike tour. In winter, according to statements from other guests, you can directly strap on your skis next to the campsite and ski downhill towards the Scheffau gondola station. An evening ski bus is supposed to take you back to the village or a snowcat directly to the campsite. It is also worth mentioning the wonderful rustic guest room and the beer garden. Here you can enjoy a cool beer, a real Palatine wine spritzer, and various dishes from burgers to steaks to end the day in a cozy atmosphere.
