You quickly feel at home here. You are warmly welcomed and get good tips from the owner who is super friendly. This makes you feel very comfortable quickly. A small nice place. Yes, in the morning, the sanitary facilities can quickly reach their capacity limit. But the facilities are always very clean and are cleaned and checked multiple times a day. We visited here for the 2nd time in a row this year and wished other campsites in Norway were even close to being this good.

Super great place. We initially only wanted to stay one night, but it became three. Sanitary facilities, kitchen, and living/dining room everything is top clean and well-maintained. It invites you to linger and relax. The nearby Nygardsbreen glacier is simply magnificent. It can be reached directly via a hiking trail to the glacier. Guided glacier tours are also offered. The detour from Gaubne is definitely worth it.

Very beautifully laid out site near the national park and glacier. The owner speaks German and is very helpful and extremely friendly. The sanitary facilities were new and clean. The lounge and kitchen are extremely new and designed to be very inviting.

Great place! Perfectly located right by the river. Reception very friendly and helpful. Lounge, kitchen, toilets, and showers are new and really good! Definitely drive the 30 km from gaupne towards the glacier. The drive is worth it! Great starting point for all sorts of activities. We will gladly come back anytime!
