International Camping Soleado

The campsite is visibly showing its age. The pool is no longer there. The restaurant was closed during our stay. A good cleanup would be beneficial. On the positive side, the pitches are very large. There are many sanitary facilities, which are kept very clean. Yes, one or two toilets don’t have locks, but that didn’t bother us since there were always enough options available. 78€ for 2 nights for a camper, 2 adults, and electricity isn’t cheap in the low season, but it's acceptable. Washing machine costs 5€. We asked for a 10% discount due to tree felling work. However, this was only granted after close examination. Initially, the 10% tax on the bill was presented to us as a discount. 😡

We spent most of the time alone in the place. Everything very run-down, neglected, and partly defective: dryer, water connection. Upon arrival, a price of €16 was quoted to me, but I had to pay €25; he could not remember the €16. Great business sense... Never again, even though the location is unique.

The location of the site is great. Just a short walk across the street and you are at the beach. The site itself is nicely divided among trees. The sanitary facilities have seen better days. Cleanliness is okay, but taking a deep breath is not recommended. The smell while showering is hard to bear.
