Inselcamping Werder

A very nice and quiet location. Friendly staff. If you can appreciate tranquility, this is an ideal campsite. The service at the "Kleine Kneipe" is very pleasant. However, one must read carefully what and when things are offered there. We often saw people leave because there was no daily restaurant, etc. The site's concept is not designed for that. The sanitary facilities at the campsite have aged a bit. However, the winter season will surely be used to fix up some details.

The cleanliness in the sanitary building could use some improvement. (Dishwashing area, shower stalls, sinks including mirrors) were dirty. This is absolutely unacceptable!! The water point/token column. Here, campers from the campsite attempted to rinse their toilet cassettes by placing the cassette discharge directly under the tap or literally over it. A separate tap-off station with a hose and sign would certainly be helpful. Otherwise, we liked the campsite including the main area and the pub with the menu.

The campsite spot is very nicely located. The sanitary facilities are very clean. The price/performance ratio is acceptable. Unfortunately, the disposal of the chemical toilet is not optimally resolved, and the biggest issue is the garbage. The containers are overflowing, there is a smell, and there are many wasps and flies. Two nights were okay, but we wouldn't stay longer due to the garbage problem.

The pitch was magnificent and the tranquility was refreshing.

The location of the campsite is absolutely stunning, situated by the Plauer Lake and peaceful. For our first camping experience, this spot was just right. We rented a caravan with an awning, about 6 m from the water 👌. It’s a great opportunity to get a taste of camping. The orientation could have been a bit more detailed. There is still room for improvement. Very friendly fellow campers, which we really liked.

The campsite was very beautiful, especially right by the water. The lake was really great. The sanitary facilities were adequate. As naturist holidaymakers, we felt a bit out of place here. Apart from us, there was no one else without clothes. Additionally, there was a lot of traffic on the road. Cars, bicycles, and other vehicles were constantly passing by. Everyone else was dressed except us. This is why we didn't feel comfortable. The price was also very high. Consequently, we decided to leave.
