The campsite is located directly by the lake, ideal for a bathing holiday. It is clean, well-maintained, quiet, and has a wonderful view. The sanitary facilities are from the 80s but are in very good condition and always clean; if something breaks, it is immediately repaired. That is sustainability. I do not understand the reviews with the desire to renew; what can get better except that it’s new? I prefer shower tokens to a higher base price, and everyone lets the water run as they like; that too is sustainability. The grass is very sensitive due to the proximity of the lake, which is why you are precisely directed to the pitch, so the grass remains intact. The entire campsite is a family-run business managed by 3 people, including reception, kiosk, checking in, etc. I can understand that sometimes no one answers the phone. Our inquiries via the homepage were always answered.

Short-term visitors only come to the right pitch with a barrier, the left side is for permanent campers and campers staying longer than a week. The site is a nice grassy area. First of all, you receive a red A4 sheet with the site regulations on it. You are not allowed to choose your own spot; instead, the manager personally assigns you one. We got one near a manhole cover, which had a very strong smell. Reading the review of the sanitary facilities makes me feel sick. During my stay, several burnt-out cigarettes were in the ashtray by the men's restroom for the entire duration. There are signs everywhere indicating what is allowed and what is not. My opinion would be that the sanitary facilities should be completely renovated, the price of €1 for 6 minutes should be changed, and that Wi-Fi should be provided throughout the entire site. Otherwise, the site is no longer up-to-date. I wonder how such a site can be among the top 50 campsites in Austria (PinCamp). Who evaluates this site? I will not be coming here again and cannot recommend it further. I only give 1 point for the grassy pitch.

A very beautifully located spot at the beginning of Lake Attersee, with a large bathing area with lake access, a stream for humans and dogs, and plenty of nature to relax and enjoy. The sanitary facilities on both sides of the site are well-maintained and clean, and the operators are always available for questions, and the spaces are large enough. The adjacent road causes no problems, and thankfully, nighttime peace is enforced consistently, so there are no celebrations at the neighbor's until the early morning hours while you want to sleep.

Hey campers! A quick snapshot from modern times! We happened to come across this place and were amazed at how hospitable everyone here is towards campers - which we are, so I mean we meet people and have respect - how we are treated. Unfortunately, we arrived quite late and were hoping to still get a spot here. And it was surprising! Despite our late arrival, we got a great spot. Everything is child-friendly here and especially the owners! That was already great! Dogs are also welcome - of course not on the beach (by the way, there's a private lake access WOW!!!!) so taking them outside is expected! But our dog could swim with us in a separate area by the river!!! - so we definitely didn’t expect that. All in all, a little insider tip! So be quick - it's first come, first served, but that's good too. Have a lot of fun and just try it out!

Dear everyone! I can only highly recommend this place, and that comes from the bottom of my heart! I must also attest that upon arrival, the weather was anything but nice, but really, nobody can help that! In any case, despite the weather conditions, I was helped very much... there was active assistance with parking the RV and wooden frames were supplied upon request! I really did not expect that! We (my wife and I, and occasionally also our children) feel VERY comfortable here and have always been treated well. So definitely plan to make this stop! Best regards, Peter C.

It is a very nice place. Unfortunately, you cannot get a spot on the lakeside for 3 nights, even though there is enough space. The check-in is very cumbersome and inconvenient, and you must order exactly as the owner prescribes. Showers are an extra 1 Euro. Wi-Fi hardly works. Such a shame for the beautiful place.

The site is very nicely located and well maintained. However, there are some things there that I cannot understand. The power supply is rated at 6A. For 4 campers, the power supply is only secured with 16A, which means the fuse often blows due to overload. According to the site operator, this is not due to insufficient security but defective devices... They could not explain 16A for 4, instead dismissing it by saying that I don't understand (so I am treated as if I am stupid) and brushing over their own incompetence. For the fact that you can only use devices with low consumption, you still have to pay a flat fee of 3.20 € for electricity!!! Wi-Fi is only usable in close proximity to the reception. The sanitary facilities are cleaned quite superficially and not at all on Sundays and holidays. Accordingly, the sanitary facilities look like that as well. Showering, despite a 1-euro token for warm water, is a kind of lottery. If you get a dud, the token is gone and you shower cold. When a parking space becomes free, the grass is mowed there, regardless of whether it is a Sunday or even a holiday. It is also telling that the site was never fully occupied, despite school holidays and Pentecost. Other campsites around Lake Attersee were full. So we cannot recommend the site and promise not to return there.

Everything in this place must have its order. One can find that good or rather picky. I found the heavy traffic to be very disturbing. The bathing facility is great.
