Rustic spot with good connections to Paris / Versailles

Rustic spot, right in between the trees! The pitches are very uneven, very good connections to Paris and Versailles. The sanitary buildings are also kept rustic and clean! Service team is friendly and attentive! Covered heated swimming pool, bread roll service at the pitch and a small bistro! Access via small narrow streets! Pitch fee too high, price-performance ratio does not seem right to me.

Not as good as remembered

...our neighbors have also said that independently of us. The connection to Paris is good with the RER. Train ride to the Eiffel Tower about 30 minutes / train comes every 20 minutes. Pool on site - always good. Playground, bakery service. The spots are so-so. Ours was extremely stony. Probably not everyone would accept that for 80 € a night. Sanitary facilities are good. Soap must sometimes be searched for, which probably not everyone does after the toilet. On the way from the train to the site you can still shop until 10:00 PM. Walking distance about 10 minutes.

Central Campsite, Paris/Versailles

Maria
A place with old trees, beautifully shaded. Sanitary facilities are spacious and relatively clean. Secured by fenced-in area, with night watch. Family-friendly, bread service, and restaurant, café. Supermarket nearby within 8 min walking distance. Accessible on foot. Train line nearby. Disadvantage: pitches are very uneven due to tree roots, tripping hazard. Sometimes difficult to drive through because of deep water trenches.

If you arrive well, everything is fine!

The approach through Versailles was extremely difficult, there was a flea market in the city center that you have to pass through to reach the camping site. The detour through narrow (one-way) side streets with parked cars was a challenge. Once arrived, everything was good, nice pitch in a mixed forest, clean sanitary facilities, nice small pool, very friendly staff. The palace can be easily reached by bike, train, or bus. Also, Paris is very well reachable within an hour using public transportation. I would recommend the larger pitches for caravans.

Good location for visiting Versailles and Paris

The castle is reachable by the wheels in 15 minutes and the train station is within walking distance. By train, it's about 20 minutes to the center of Paris. Campsite located in the forest of Versailles. Roll delivery service is offered. Access is through narrow streets, yet still manageable.

Nice, clean. You need bicycles to visit the palace, about 4 km. Good bike paths.

Family-friendly campsite
Very good8
Jasmin
The campsite is tidy and all facilities are clean and well-maintained. Baby facilities have also been considered (baby bath, changing area). The natural swimming area is fed by the adjacent pond, making it a bit slippery, so it is not a chlorinated pool. Children can play well on the gravel paths and ride bikes or balance bikes without you having to constantly keep an eye on them. The food was okay too. However, the campsite is indeed quite remote, in the middle of nowhere.

Good campsite for a visit to Paris

Andreas
Campsite on a hillside with many trees. Paris is easily accessible by regional train. Hardly any flat grounds, but nice shady pitches. In case of rain, the site quickly turns into a waterfall. Not really suitable for large motorhomes. Burgers and pizza at the restaurant are very good. Long waiting time for the bread roll service. Pool overcrowded with small children.
