Campers can reach the foothills of the Pyrenees, a paradise for hikers and nature lovers, on foot. The nearest village, Font-Romeu, is just 400 metres away. There you will also find a grocery shop. Huttopia Font-Romeu itself has a kiosk, a restaurant and a bread delivery service. The pitches are all generously sized. Alternatively, there are some tents and bungalows on the site. The sanitary facilities are not only in good condition, but also barrier-free, making them accessible for guests with limited mobility. The showers and individual wash cubicles have hot water, which is free of charge for holidaymakers. Dogs are allowed all year round, although there is a charge for four-legged friends. Huttopia Font-Romeu also has a number of washing machines, tumble dryers and washbasins as well as a baby changing room. The immediate surroundings of the campsite are quiet and rich in excursion destinations. Hikes through the Pyrenees are very popular in the summer months. The nearby ski resorts open around the turn of the year. Spontaneous day trips across the border to Spain are possible by car. The Casa de la Vall in the capital is particularly worth a visit.
