Very nice, quietly located campsite at the end of an access road. The operators are very friendly. A new sanitary building has been constructed with showers, toilets, washing areas to freshen up, and disposal for chemical toilets. It is a bit too small dimensioned for full occupancy of the campsite. I had a pitch between permanent campers and was very satisfied. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. There is an opportunity to play volleyball at the swimming lake. Fire pits are also present by the lake. Furthermore, there is a lovely path around the lake. The campsite is an ideal starting point for beautiful hikes or bike tours through the Höllental. I will definitely visit the site again. The campsite is usable all year round. There is also still a lot of investment being made.

A very beautiful small campsite in wonderfully quiet, green surroundings! The sanitary facilities are new, very clean, thanks to the operators! The site is located directly by the small lake, there is grass and sand and also play equipment. A playground is currently being built at the campsite. The staff on site were super nice, they greeted us warmly in the evening and bid us farewell nicely upon departure. We will definitely be coming back!

The campsite is located at the end of an access road to the lake, directly by the clean swimming lake with playground and hiking trails. The snack bar is open every evening, the sanitary facilities are new. There is electricity at the site, water distributed on the site, and there are drains for gray water. The operators are very friendly and have an open ear. You can hike there, to the Höllental, to Hirschsprung, or to the 12 Apostles. Of course, there are also good restaurants in the Franconian Forest. Eichenstein near Issigau and the oldest inn in the Franconian Forest, the Adelskammer. Unfortunately, the construction of Europe’s longest suspension bridge is not yet underway; it will then connect the Höllental with Lichtenberg over a length of about 1000m.

During our transit, we were able to spend a night here. The site is located quietly above the Frankenwald lake, somewhat hilly. It's perfectly suitable for travelers. The toilets are clean but a bit older. New curtains for the showers would be beneficial. There are no further services available. The lake is currently being redesigned and is therefore not usable. Thanks to the support team.
