Herding Hill Farm

At Herding Hill Farm, there is plenty for children to discover. A real highlight is the petting zoo with alpacas, donkeys, rabbits, and guinea pigs. For burning off energy, there is a great children's playground equipped with a Roman fort and a pirate ship. Boredom is definitely not an option here!

If you are looking for relaxation, you can hire the campsite's own sauna for private use. In addition to classic pitches, the campsite also offers quirky rental accommodations. Some of these cosy rentals even feature their own hot tub, perfect for winding down at the end of the day.

This very well-kept campsite is nestled in the rolling hills of northern England, very close to the historic Hadrian's Wall. The pitches for holidaymakers are partly on grass and partly hardstanding. This means you will always find the right ground for your motorhome or car with caravan.

Getting here is very relaxed thanks to the good location in North East England. A big plus for excursions without your own vehicle: there is a public transport stop just 50 metres from the campsite. For the grass pitches, you should pack suitable pegs, while sturdy equipment is recommended for the hardstanding areas.

For self-catering, a well-equipped communal kitchen with a practical snack machine is at your disposal. If you do not feel like cooking, you can easily reach the nearest town centre of Haltwhistle for shopping or dining out. There is also Wi-Fi across the campsite to look up recipes or nearby restaurants.

Yes, dogs are very welcome on the campsite. To freshen up your four-legged friend after an exciting excursion into the hills of northern England, there is even a dedicated dog shower on site. This keeps your motorhome or caravan nice and clean too.
