Helsingør Camping is characterised by its attractive location directly behind the city beach of Helsingør. Only the beach promenade separates the meadow pitches from the small sandy beach bay. The centre of the town on the north-eastern tip of the Danish island of Zealand is only 1 km away. This makes the site a good starting point for a combination of city break and beach holiday on the Danish Baltic Sea. The railway connection directly behind the campsite is practical for excursions in the region. There is also a direct ferry connection from Helsingør to Helsingborg in Sweden on the opposite side of the Öresund.

Convenient starting point for visiting the 1 km distant Kronborg Castle (UNESCO World Heritage Site), which is also visible from the site.
