The centre of the town on the north-eastern tip of the Danish island of Zealand is only 1 km away. This makes the site a good starting point for a combination of city break and beach holiday on the Danish Baltic Sea. The railway connection directly behind the campsite is practical for excursions in the region. There is also a direct ferry connection from Helsingør to Helsingborg in Sweden on the opposite side of the Öresund.

Convenient starting point for visiting the 1 km distant Kronborg Castle (UNESCO World Heritage Site), which is also visible from the site.

The campsite is run by friendly staff. A cozy place that meets all campers' wishes. Waste and disposal, gray water, chemical toilet; everything can be disposed of. We found the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities exemplary. Buns and kiosk items can be purchased at the reception. Coffee, ice cream, cake; everything for a small hunger. Nice large pitches, separated by hedges. Direct view over the Öresund to Sweden. Important for campers who like to carry cash, mostly Germans. In southern Sweden and through the ferries, also in Denmark or Helsingør, there are gangs that prefer to open camping vehicles, especially Fiats, through the locks and steal cash from people sleeping in the campers. So far without anesthetic gas and without waking the people. No cards, identification or similar were taken.
